 The TCLeague (TCL) became the first - and only - official tournament of any TrueCombat mod throughout the years.It all began in early 2003 when 3 TrueCombat players (Rabidwolf, Robocow & DeathsHead) wanted a community driven league - for the players by the players. With the help of Diane assembling a website and writing the rules, the first TCL tournament (then called TCUCL - TrueCombat Ultimate Challenge League) was born in March 2003. Over the next couple of months, the league changed from a laid back "funwar" tournament to a competitively driven league. The administrative team had also changed to include members of TeamTerminator, and European clans were invited to participate (the first season had North American clans - with the exception of Finnish clan, r0k). From March 2003 until July 2006, the TCL held SIX 3-6 month tournaments and ONE Nations Cup, and today still remains the best league and tournament in TrueCombat history.
