I hate it. It's really pissing me off because when I made the horrible horrible mistake of updating it, it sunk its foul, feces encrusted talons into my machine and reset all sorts of defaults against my will, and I don't seem to be able to change them back.

It can't even play some of the movies it stubbornly insists it is the default for, until I save them and then open them. And then, Windows Media Player opens instead and plays them just fine.

Whenever it can't play one of these movies, it also opens a link to apple where it wants me to download at least dozen plugins.

It's also lacking in all sorts of standard features, which apple wants to charge us for.

Go to hell, Quicktime.

I'm going to get some sort of alternative real soon here.

Quicktime isn't so bad..... but RealPlayer.......
...that's a different story.

It takes FOREVER to load up, and it just completely consumes all of the proccessing power in the whole damn computer (kinda like a media player made by Norton).

I actually don't mind RP. I hate QT though. It seems that no matter how often I update, it's never enough. I'm on a shitty connection, so I hate endless dl's!! Grr!

I don't mind RealPlayer so much either.

It's such a horrible worthless POS media player that very little on the internet actually requires it. Generally, it seems only availible as an option rather than as a requirement.

Quicktime also ask me for those annoying files that it wants to transfer under its control. Its like it conflicts with WMP.
