The recon guys are also suppose to be the ones with the sniper rifle. It allows them to do reconaissance and shoot at the same time when needed. The ones behind them is the assualt them, then the support team including machine gunners and heavy weapons.

than i suggest the devs should fix the classes,

there should only be 2 classes, assault and recon

But all Special Ops. classes could be considered as recon.

I mean, you have Recon Demolitions, Assault, Sniping. :D

Reconaissance isn't a group of people, it's a task that a group must enact, like an objective.

The third class should be support. Ive never expected a unit to be going out there with out a support class to give cover fire and suppresive fire as well as do the demolision and other things. Support does most of the unusual work, Recon does the scouting and securing, Assualt does all the dirty work.

I think a support class is in order. give them high-power, high ROF, weapons that can't hit the broadside of a barn.

Yeah, high firepower but lacking the accuracy of recon and assault, plus needing to be the ones to do the blowing up of the crate since they have all the high explosives and heavy weaponry.

the thing with high firepower is that you need to change the model,

the devs would need to change how the model's holding the "heavy machine gun"

like when the models is running you'll see that the model is holding the gun low verticle right? but with a machine gun it should be a bit diagnal, cause a machine gun is huge... so they have to change the how the models holding the gun,

i had opened a thread about how the models should hold the gun, and its removed, and i think ill put it back.

Thing is, I dont think they want heavy arms. It seems that they are focusing more on close in infantry combat in urban environments where heavy arms cannot be used. Just look at the TCE maps, they are set in cities.

well, thirdparty maps. and I though you didnt like those. Im not against the heavy arms, being that I would rather use an M249 over anything.

HELLRACERS map isnt a thirdparty map, hes a TT member,
consider evry map thats made by a TT member an official map.

but not part of the package. I wont consider it official unless it was released as part of the installer for any version. Besides, there are alot of third party maps made by the TT members.

hmmm I tough recon specialists hardly had any weapons, there usually silent killers and armed with a knife and a silenced pistols for back up. Snipers are a totaly different category, they learn how to aim extremely well and they are always camping in the same place to back up the assault team from far away. And there’s one category that I didn’t see in TCE, demolitions. Demolitions are heavily armed with big weapons like shotguns or machineguns and they are experts with explosives( C4, door breach and other stuff like that).

hmm this is very intresting i hope the devs read this,

so what classes do you suggest to be added in the game?

DEMOLITION RECON SNIPER ASSAULT or what?
