similar to objective:

one (1) person on the SPECOPS (or merc) team gets an anti-material weapon (.50 cal rifle or RPG) which is crap against other players, but is used against an objective is effective enough to win the mission. weapons would have 5-10 tounds, and would need to be carried within range of the obj. it would be fired at a vehicle (like a helicopter, small tank, etc.) or object that must be protected by the other team. this would have both teams swap sides in stopwatch-style gameplay (maybe even as stopwatch...) and if the player who was given the special weapon (can be selected by choice with high AA, or goes automatically to person with highest AA) dies, it can be picked up.

if a team is eliminated, or the ammo for the weapon is depleted, the round ends with the side which was not eliminated (or the side defending) winning the match.

now, the weapon should be like the bomb, invisible to the other team. recon classes SHOULD be able to tell where the other players are (thus giving them usefulness) and the general area of the special weapon.

now, for the weapon carrier, I'm thinking, a regular loadout, but with the selected primary weapin as backup, or, the selected sidearm with an extra mag or two.

sounds complicated and rather familiar. Sounds like something from UT2k4 where you have to blow up the enemy reactor.

I don't care about UT2k4, but I like this idea, it sounds good. I think someone should implement it.
