we all know that when TCE upgrades, a lot of the good maps *cough*Dem_depot_xp*cough* will be rendered useless. so, if you have some time, why not help upgrade them for the next version.
AFAIK it ahould just involve minor changes, but, meh, what do I know :P.

well, in order to upgrade them we need the new shader tones for the textures. And where are they, until the next release. lol.. well, there are alot of good maps Id like to see have a 049 version, theres nothing we can do but wait till TT releases their mapping addon package for GTKradiant

Dem_depot_xp is ugly as hell,
stupid *I need a large hot beef injection ♡* flowers all over the place, and it laggs,

like i said so many times, there are no good 3rd party maps,
theyre ugly,!!

It laggs for you? The only maps that lagg on mine are dem_hideout and some of the rather bad looking 3rd party maps. All the other maps give me a flat 90fps at HIGH settings or max

dem_urban is a really laggy map for me. depot has a nice setup with easily guarded/assaulted objectives, and some fun places to hide :D also would be good in CTF...

Well, I guess your opinion counts as does my criticism.

3rd part maps aren't all bad. Just the ones that are made by one person that are haphazard and unoriginal.

Dem_depot_xp isn't horrible or ugly. It sure beats the hell out of some other maps I've been on before. :P

There are just some problems with Depot, it is really easy to spawncamp depending on which side got the most number of reasonably good players. I mean, the windows on that building outside the specops spawn isnt really needed, it just supports spawncamping. There are many more examples, but think you guys know them already. The third party maps need some really balancing fixes thats all.

I don't notice too much spawncamping. Usually if you have someone snipe from your spawn area and act as a "spam-blocker" by killing the n00b that keeps going to the same spot.

It's a good map, in my opinion, nonetheless.

Well, with the release of .49. They might make the map better and more anti-n00b.

Maybe we could make programs that would act like the Agents in the Matrix.

They would go around with a Desert Eagle .50AE and shoot the spawn00bs. If the n00bs try to fight back, they will realize that there bullets are being dodged and will try to run. That's the word "try" to run. :D

Maybe when we get a server, we can program a small server hack that puts an invisible kill wall on spawn areas, When the member of anotehr team enters this area, boom, they blow up.

I go some place less obvoius. Standing in that room or and designated room is a very bad idea, especially in OBJ.
