 Post subject: old ruins map

I like to see some "old ruins" on some map,
just imagine how immersive it will be,

if the bullets hits the walls, you see A slight bit of dust comming out of the wall,
imagine that! it would be freaking immersive,

or you will see some walls destroyed by bullets,
just like when you shoot bullets at A "weak wooden door"

or you will see some old old statue get destroyed by bullets,
just think how friggen awesome it is if those things happens in A middle of a mission,

but you cant destroy evrything, you can only destroy the "breakable walls"
and "destroyable objects" like old pots, big old statue's ect. ect.

but this requires A talented "art work designer" who can draw all his idea's first before they model it in 3D, like what professional game developers always do, when they develop A game.
so they can get the structures/architectures of the map look correct.

need a mapper... why dont you try it out.. download gtkradiant and the tce map kit.

no. cause i want this to be official, and if you say: the devs dont have time?
how do you know all that?
who are you to say that the devs dont have time for this.

and these special extra features for that particular map,
cant be done with the gtkgradian tool,
this is something what only the devs are capable to do,
they're the pro's not me,

you could make the maps and submit it to the devs, if they like it, they might make it official, and youd probably part of the mapping team.

a lot of TJ maps have sand for walls, if you use it's properties, but change the skin image, it would have the same effect. oooh! I'll try mining the wall!


but anyhoo,

mapping is supposedly easy, but I need a good tutorial for it...

what other games can use the unreal editor for maps? ofcourse tehy all have to be unreal based right?
