I like to see some simple hand signals in TCE.
Like these type of hand signals:

Quote:
-move left
-move right
Image

-come here
Image
Image

-move forward
Image

-no...
Image

-we split

but i like to see A sort of A training/campaign mode in TCE,
and when you finished the training/campaign mode.

than you will be able to do "hand-signals".
this will prevent from noobs using the "hand-signals" for useless purposes.

If you play America's Army, youll know these commands because they use that in multiplayer games. Not so often, but used. DO you really think we need all that?

5 importent hand signals.

example:

the "No... hand-signal" will be used in situations like,
when your behind a wall, right on the left side of you is A open door, outside the door you saw some enemy's
one of your team mate decides to go outside the door
than you can use the "No.. hand-signal"

and you can use it for many different type of things, in different type of situations.

you could do that or you could use TS or xfire voice chat systems. These programs actually kill the use of these handsignals. remember when I said they are used in AA but not often, thats because its easier to use teamspeak or ventrilo or xfire.

just remember,
you will not regret it if this is implented,
maybe its allot of work,
but once its in the game evryone will be happy.

someday in the future someone will post A suggestion in this forum
and it go's like this:

newcomer says:
Hi all..
i have A suggestion, i think the hand signals could be A little bit different,
it looks A bit wack.

TCE player 1. says:
no. the current hand-signals is fine

TCE player 2. says:
I agree, hand signals are friggen tight!!

TCE player 3. says:
whats wack about the hand signals? the devs done A great job,

newcomer says:
you guys are right...
hand signals are realistic, it gives the feel that you A real immersive feel, that you're on A mission. but it would be better if the devs added 2 more hand signals, i like to see A *i-need-a-broader-vocab* you hand signal

TCE player 1. says:
yeah, so we can put it in your ass

TCE player 2. says:
hahahahahahaha

TCE player 3. says:
newcomer your stupid!! go play different game, this is "TRUE COMBAT"
its not tinki winki dipsi game,

newcomer 2 says:
you devs have done A good job on the hand signals,
no crosshairs! and kick ass hand signals,
what more could I ask for A free game?
TC:E is the best FPS ever!!

Team terminator:
Hi newcomer 2.
welcome.
we hope you enjoy playing TCE
thanks for the compliments, we have received allot of compliments about the hand-signals,
thanks to Dragonathan,

Dragonathan says:
hah!! i told you guys this A good idea,

we shall see then if the devs do put this in.. wether they do or not.. it doesnt matter. This is thier work, its their choice what to do with it. Were only here to enjoy it.

besides handsignals, they should think about having more than 1 kind of voice commo messages. The current is radio only, they should have whisper and shout.

I want the enemey's to hear my voices too,
the current "voice system" only makes your own team hear your voices,
but it would be fun if the enemy's could hear your voice too,

not those voices thats ment for tactics, and for combat situations.
like: (covering fire, reinforce the defence. ect. ect.)

but some ordinary cursing,
like: you bitch...!!, pussy!! ect, ect,
it gives you the... i call it: "real world feel"

the u.s. soldiers in iraq does curse too...
if you watch CNN, and when you see A short documentary about the u.s. soldiers in iraq, you see that they curse oftenly.

so it is realistic.

we cant have swearing in the game and do you think people will really listen to each other. Not everyone plays as a team. Although the hearing the voices thing is right, you should be able to hear them. One time in AAO, i was hiding behind a pickuptruck. I heard the opfor talking, they were talking, but I could here was a different language.

yes we can, if the devs put A warning before downloading,
and at the start intro, when you open TCE,

something like this:

WARNING!!

this game contains explicity, violence, suggestive themes, crude humor.
THIS GAME IS RATED FOR ADULTS ONLY,
18+

so you are saying we prevent most of our younger community members from enjoying the game, changing the rating to AO and all that. Dude, the devs will not have swearing as part of the game itself, no game will have auto swearing as a multiplayer communication/chat feature. Expicitly violent is fine thats the idea of shooters in the first place, but swearing.. NO. I dont agree with the idea of adding that in game, if someone wanted to swear in multiplayer, let them to that manually by typing it.

Suggestive themes, by that I hope you dont mean "themes" that would be rated as AO. TCE is a counterrorist like shooter similar to CounterStrike but focuses more in reality (reality it terms of setting and feel without hindering gameplay too much). If you want swearing and suggestive themes, why not play Grand Theft Auto instead.

There are just some kinds of content that may seem to make games more realistic that shouldnt be put in the games themselves. No hard feelings man, but these things are just going too far.

you think those younger players will stop playing cause of the warning?
no. i am A young player too, i dont even mind about that warning,
its just to make TCE have some back up, if some angry parents ever gonna make A big case out of it,

swearing would increase the fun factor,
allot of sissy games changed there style from something sissy and sweet, into something raw,

great example.
prince of persia - sands of time morphed into something kick ass and raw,
prince of persia - warrior within, allot of adult contents were added, allot of gore, and you know what, its friggen 900 times better than the first one,
and if you dont like cursing and swearing,
why dont you play "super mario bumping on yosi's ass"

too far? than you might as wel say: bodycount is just too far,
too many dead people dieng from time to time

no, gore is part of the game, a necessary part of it. but in multiplayer, having swearing isnt the source of incresing "funfactor"

that has nothing to do with it.
