Coroner has left the building; he's shifted his full-time attention to working on Princess Unicorn Bunny Kitten Angel, a psychedelic fantasy martial arts cross-dressing yoga game starring Karate Explosion (in his new white Pilates leotard) and Fluffy. He's currently working on the genre crossing feature that randomly remaps keyboard binds and shocks the Player... Yahtzee Croshaw has promised a five star review and to dance nude for a Zero Punctuation video of the game is ever released!

I though i should be quietly but a question popped about the blog. So theres some plans CQB uses tce maps. Does tce bot waypoints work also with CQB? with common sense i think they does. Same bot system and same maps :D

First : thank you for yours weapons, be sure I use these !

About CQB : why don't we see the "lean left" and "lean right" in the gaming session ? It's an important element of gameplay.

I like how it seems. More slow, no "ninja" jump.
When fired, the blood make more difficult a counter attack, It's great.
Now, more realism would be : blood when fired at head, less accurate when fired at arms, movements slowed when fired at legs, etc...

I shall like making a suggestion: stress more the movement of the body in every step when the character run or moves.

I would like to point out about lean that i think he did lean on 1:23 :D it was just so smooth/less effective than in tce so after few replays i noticed it. It was left lean.

Lol now i know why M@tilda weapons are so legendary :lol:

Sound world is excelént i think :P

Acog indeed makes me shit my pants. I though first thats your own engine build.

I dont like the blood just because it looks like cod and i dont like cod. But cant blame it since it was somewhat a idea to make it more cod looking.

Everything seems to be pretty much perfect except theres one big flaw in CQB.... I dont have it yet :twisted: bhahaa. <---- not pushing

1st, I'd like to state, I can see how much this work is inspired by CoD (I didn't say i don't like it :D )

2nd, just like in MW2 and other games, I dont like, that I can't see cause of the blood... Make a hole in the center area of that overlay image :D Or make that area 70-80% transparent

Also noticed, the blood drops are instantly on the screen, no matter how much health you have lost -- people won't know how careful they gotta be if they don't know how much health they have got left.
How about this: you see more blood drops, as you get hurt more and you don't need insanely lot of of those blood drops. OR your screen will just flash red, and when you are near death, the blood drops show.

Love the ACOG on the AK-47, nice work :-) However, at 0:46 that EULA is weirdly placed on the Scar (it is scar, isn't it?).

I like the new arctic camo suit with vest on the terrors at 0:46 :-) and the nice, highly detailed work on some weapons. :-)

In conclusion very, very nice work :) Thanks

Good to know you are contributing on it too, you definitly can do something great for TCE.

I agree with invader, the blood flash sucks like it does in COD games.
Make the screen blurry if u want but blood doesnt come out of the eyes ...

Hi, just wanted to say that the blood screen is already damage dependent. It has 2 layers which depend on damage and it fades depending on damage. Of course, it can be further tweaked after the initial release.

The video doesn't show leaning. Nevertheless, it is in the code. Next I will implement the abilities and then decide in which way leaning will be effected by the leaning ability.

I could swear i saw lean on 1:23 where you shoted with sig or mp5 inside to the garage.

And im amazed nobody noticed most realistic element yet (hope it is a feature)

Iron sight doesnt have fov zoom yay ! Only one game have done this before in my knowledge which is infilitration ut99 mod.

Actually, it would be very doable to publish an alpha soon (please don't ask for a date, and only Win and Linux ATM, sorry Mac users) which would require ppl to copy the existing TCE 049b paks in the new cqbtest folder.
This alpha would then use old maps and old gametypes and menu assets.
I dunno whether it would be smart or not to go public that early without a decent TCE independent installation ... I also see the risk that admins would just patch TCE, although I can make sure that the game only runs as cqbtest and the server browser would only recognize those servers.

tunnel vision hum hum... maybe. do you mean that example at m4 you might see slight zoom trough sight if you littlebit put your head lower (face more angle). but c'mon it doesnt happen on every gun if i remember right and its very small zoom. most ridiculous ironsight i remember had from 90 to 65 zoom. true combat always had prettty nice :D

but i prefere no zoom
