not really. ET only supports Q3Ebased 3d models, namely, md2/md3/(md4 im not sure this exist) and other model filetypes supported by Q3E. Normally, gmax is the basic tool used to officially create Q3models. Gmax is free and uses the Q3 tempest gamepak (used for creating Q3models along with gmax). other options are 3dsmax using 3rd party exporters, which may have complications. ofcourse there are lots more out there, but not all of them are supported or even have any exporters for the specific Q3 formats.

not that im boasting, but i could. the only thing is, i make high detail, high poly models, not a good thing for games since my weapon models can sometimes be even larger and more detailed than the maps themselves.

view these. this a unfinished model of a "US Navy SPR mk.12" the stock hasnt been fixed yet, it has to look more like an m4 than an m16 stock.

thats a zip file, you just downlaod it, and extract the file onto a folder of your choice. ill try to get the jpgs, online, they are at least a Mb in size each

A few weeks ago he did show all his good looking maps,

and now he works for TT,

it might happen to you too if you show all your work on the TCE's international forum.

sure but, these are extremely high quality for use ingame, especially on the ETE/Q3E, it simple cant be handled by either engine. Although I have heard that SourceE (the Halflife2 engine) can handle its immense detail. currently is has over 20,000 polys and its details arent even complete. (its missing the proper stock, the bipod, the sight adjustments, the ejection doors or whatever you call it, the cock, the mode switch, the trigger, and the other tiny little details. the model itself has details of the nuts and bolts holdint the scope together, now imagine that for every single piece of metal in it.

I got more models but most of them are mid poly, never been textured and arent online, most are stored in a dvd.
