Hey :D.

I just started to play this game and than.. the cursed grey screen of doom came upon my screen resulting into me having to switch it off.
Help of any kind Í'd be glad to recieve.
I have an ATI Raedon X600 or X900.

EDIT: The Server wont download the personal mods.
Like Gamestate than it will retry the connection.

O sorry,

I start TrueCombat ( Yes, Rly) than it load up fine.
When I go to the server thing its fine.
But when I click on a game, this is where the problem starts.
You know when the game load and it says like "Loading Game State" and downloading a personal mod from some site. It than freezes and I have to log off and on to fix it -.- .

Hope you or other people can help.

have you installed enemy territory first before you installed TrueCombat 0.49?

from how he got the client working, I'd say he did.

it could be you're trying to connect to an older server, try going only for servers running obj_maps.

also ,downloads to freeze sometimes, if it's really bad, you could always use the sv_official filter (the little yellow oval one) and just use the original junk.

This is why we need to filter out thirdparty maps from being downloaded - if you already have them it should be okay but having downloads from servrs could have potentialy different results depending on the end user's setup ~ suppoing they log on to that server and download a file that is incompatible with something on their system and causes problems with ET or TCE or cobflitcs with an existing ET/TCE file such as the previous all french TCE issue which needed a reinstall. That is just annoying. I would suggest just disabling the downloads of thirdparty files ingame especially the ones that modify thje game content (not refering to maps).

Just have the official filter turned on for now and avoid servers with dem_ as the prefix for maps.
