We do howvever want to make TCE follow the real guidlines of real warfare and urban combat tactics... bunny hopping and using explouts deliberately placed on maps aren tpart of those plus the objective isnt realistic at all.

Dude it is a game it will never follow all the guidlines of "real warfare and urban combat tactics". FFS and "Problem is TCE never had a situation wher eyou need to suddenly breach a door in a hurry" yeah there is.

clearing a room with campers: kicking the door will give you more time to aim, also, it catches the person off-guard.

defense, if a bomb is planted at an objective, and it is indoors, or if you are indoors, kicking a door that is in the way will speed you up.

also, if opening doors when firing is disabled, kicking during spray+pray will help take out campers. also, opening a door fully in ~.5 seconds will give you proper LOS inside, instead of waiting.

on the nose it, just the fact it would be fastest is a great advantage too, say you out numbered and and need to take position getting into a room faster would be a big advantage yes even if the difference is less then a second (ask any competative player milliseconds count when your underfire). Also to be able to take postion faster as well once again eversecond count as well as rushes too.

Kicking doors down would be cool, but breaching them would just be exaggeration. Talking about doors I just want to say that its cool to see that the devs made the doors only open one side out… I know it seams stupid but a lot of games have doors that open both ways out and in real life doors open just from one side unless you kick it down of course :wink:

-you shoot a person's arms/hand, than the person you shot will sway his gun more,

and also, you should be dead if you jumpt from a high altitude.

now thats how you get rid of the arcadish feel/factors. because it makes players play more careful. and that will slow down the game pace/flow

yeah, that's good for realism. not sure if you can do it in ET, but I know it was in SWAT3, and made it that little bit more challenging.

also, instead of kicking them down how about just open. many times when a door is kicked in on SWAT raids, the door just opens really fast. it's also how it's done in RTCW SP.

Perhaps you need to follow him dragon. Anyways the code for that might really still be in the ET code but not likely going to work as you might want. Plus, since TCE is already having issues with hitboxes and getting stuck in places, putting it more hitboxes on the maps wont do anyone any good. In the mean time it would be better that they fix those hitboxes and stuck in places issues.

i always wanted to be in the military, but i dont wanna risk losing my arms and legs in war, id rather die than having my limbs amputated.

I find that sick what there doing in Iraq. The war over there is pointless; blood for oil is what it’s called. Btw the American soldiers are getting there asses kicked over there, you know why, cuz the Iraqis now war, even if they don’t have the high teck stuff, they know how to fight. If my wife and kids were killed because of some rich *i-need-a-broader-vocab* that were greedy like hell, I would fight just like there doing. It’s not called terrorism, its called self defense…
