Say what?

Anyway, make sure to read some of the stickies in the AA forums for tips on improving performance.

Yay, I got it, finished training too, all of it. >.> I just decided to go see what was different and did it all over again, and these guys have it easy except for the US Weapons Familiarization, seriously, everything else is easier, especially Eagle Tower. I got Humvee training done pretty easy, Javelin training took a bit to get it down how to do it, but it's pretty easy now that I got it figured out. Snake Plain seems pretty easy, but Interdiction I have to say though, is difficult, I was killed in 5 seconds the first time I played it, then I got the hang of the outside, and got killed downstairs when I somehow got hit by my frag and knocked myself into 3rd person, then I just quit that round, then after that I couldn't get inside, I need an ally. :(

Snakeplain is easy but impossible without teamwork.. possible to win yourself but on a random chance so its not guaranteed.

Interdiction is really difficult alone or with a group of people who cant work together. Getting in is easy, getting out is outright suicide.

Steamroller is great, works better than expected, although much more on camping.

Use XFire and AAMBS to track me, then join the serve rI am at and add my name to Battle Buddies in the AAMBS tracker. That way if I am around you can join in. I can lead you through Interdiction as I have won that alot.

I was starting to get an idea for the map last night and tonight. Once you finally figure it out it's not too bad, but that BMP in the beginning hurts me an awful lot. But yeah, if I ever see you on I'll join ya, just so you know, names MSgt.Ray_Bayard so if you see me you'll know, I might change it to E-4.Ray_Bayard because I'm a specialist. :D

Yeah mutha *i-need-a-broader-vocab*! AA is the shit...
2.7 is a load of crap, and should never have been released! 2.6 worked fine! They added a few things and now the game runs like crap. BOOO!
To make things worse, THEY DONT HAVE A MAC CODER! So for all the mac users in the world that play AA, they are stuck with 2.5. LAME !!!

Enough of my complaining.. AA is a tight ass game, and I would recomend waiting in line on www.fileplanet.com for the download. Its a guarenteed work, and the only site I know of that has a decent download. I gotta peace though, lata.

BTW, If your on a MAC.. this post has completely wasted your time.

I would tell you. the AA devs only make versions for Windows. There is a separate induvidual who single handedly makes the mac and linux ports. It turns out, the amount of differences in 2.6 and 2.7 forced him to just stop because there is too many thirdparty apps within AA2.7 to port into other O/S which make sit difficult to do.

It should however work with linux through Wine or any of those Win emulators.

The game doesnt run like crap for many people even those with below minimum.

I know the guy who was doing the MAC side of AA quit.. it was too much, they asked too much of him, and he wasnt getting paid. So he quit, wise choice imho.

Exactly. so the MAC and linux client depends if anyone will be generous enough to spend some of thier time to make the ports.
