you have grenade/smoke/flash in this game,
why not be able to customize the nades by your own choice,

like having 3 flash nades,
or 2 flash nades and 1 smoke nade
or 1 grenade and 2 smoke nades
or choose 3 smoke nades,
"well you guys know what i mean"

whatever the player wants, it will add a bit more depth into the game,
and it gains the what i call "player's freedom - factor" feel...

there should be a specific value and threat factor to each nade. That way, whatever set they choose it will still be balanced and noone will be too powerful by having a specific mix of nades. The value limits how many of each type of nade can be brought when brought with other nades. So you can take like a frag, 2 fbs or frag, 1 fb, 1 smoke, or 2fb, 2 smoke, or 2 frag, one smoke etc.

infact, why not add extra magazing load outs to this aswell, you can bring extra mags instead of a grenade... that will solve the problem for those who never use nades and lack ammo.

Well, I rarely run out of ammo, (never have) and I rarely use my nades, SO.................... my delima was solved in the first edition. :D

Wow, I often do run out of ammo and have to switch with a weapon on the ground. :P

This isn't because I wasted all the ammo, it's because I made a kill with all the ammo and have been alive long enough to do so.

1) Imagine a troll / teambleeder / teamflasher / teamkiller / someone around just to annoy the shit out of people.
2) Allow him to take either 3 flashes or 3 smokes.

That why we also have dicussions regarding methods to easily kick these players ranging from TK to spawncampers and including the use of map exploits.

pff.. than you migth aswell remove guns,
cause there are teamkillers that shoot team mates with guns :roll:
see what i mean...

idea isnt bad,
you theory is bad...


there will always be teamkillers in evry game wheter they kill you with nades, or annoy you with flash, or shoot you with regular guns,
