Have you guys noticed that only 9 of us are really here most of the time? There are hundreds of members but most of them arent really here. I understand that most are those who come here to ask about tech related questions, especially the installation and OpenGL issues.

Its just a silly though, it seems that the entire forum is just us, and a few new people, making up about 15-19 people participating the forums.

THe site look great, the forums are active, but are only populated by a few. That is kinda disturbing, its like a little sorority house. (no I dont mean fraternity, I meant sorority in a sarcastic way)

:? This has got the be the second smallest forum in the world, our clan is the smallest with 12 and only 2 active.

Hehe yea.

In a way, I kind of like it smaller. Everyone's issues/concerns/etc usually get addressed ASAP because of the size.

It's kind of weird because we made this site to promote the NA community more. Trauma and I noticed the official forums were more European dominant (which isn't a bad thing), but some people felt left out and we decided we should try to strengthen the NA community (which produce more gamers than Europe, I believe - so it couldn't hurt) and for them to have a home (even though Euros are welcome here as well).

Well, people have surely made this forum their home! Hehe.

I think a lot more people read instead of post. The site/forums get a lot more daily traffic then one would assume it does. We are currently averaging about 1,500-2,000 unique visits daily... and between 4,000-5,500 page views.

I really admire the regulars on here. You keep the forum alive and are very helpful to any newcomer that needs help. No one gets overlooked. :)

It's kinda ironic because Tuesday marks a year since this site has been launched, and Trauma and I had no idea that we'd get such a dedicated community (although small).

My hat goes off to all of you! :)

With only a few people, it's much more comfortable to huddle against each other. :D

Dedicated members, the one's who come here everyday, are the one's that usually make a difference in a forum.

With the release of .49, more members may come here and some of them might have interest.

yup. well, ofcourse you can expect the staff to be here at all times. it seems that this branch of TCE.com is more user friendly to new members than in the other site. I guess that is so becuase we are more tolerant for various things like the flaming, we strictly police that but we are quite tolerant. If you flame in the TCE.main forums youll surely get a note from liquid or someone else. Other than that we have brought up a nearly 24/7 technically support service. We have atleast one of the staff here everyday, not one day with no site staff to help anyone with an issue. Guess thats a good thing for this forums. and hopefully it will grow bigger.

Well and it could also be that people are too busy playing the game. But I'm sure that when .49 comes out more people will post, like me. I own a mac so when .49 comes out, i'll be posting a lot more.

good to hear that. And yes, we know. When 049 comes out we expect to brace ourselves for a whole new set of bugs, glitches, complaints, suggestions, comments, requests, and just plain '"Im new"s' in the forums. That explains why cleaning up is so hectic around both TCE forums but were glad to see that we still have active members besides ourselves in the forum.

Are you nuts? Not sure if Xeno likes to have his name in a salute strongly connected to the nazi party.

it doesnt work because people value themselves far more than they value society and others. Greed and corruption are the only reasons (big enought to mention) that caused communisma and socialism not to work. People have made capitalism sound so good but in reality in a way it actually supports greed and poverty by actually dividing the population by those who ownproperty and business and thoe who only work for little bits of money.

As if you haven't noticed up there in Canada, capitalism is the only way America stays alive and in "peace" with itself. It's the only way "Democracy" would work in our society.

I'm grateful because you get away with a lot more than you do in Europe. :P

well, too late, human mentality is easily changed by what they are made to think is right but not what they truely believe to be right on thier own and in thier own thoughts.
