Therefore there would be very few places on the map where you actually can shoot this thing.

It seems that I have underestimated the CQB-worthiness of RPG-7. I did a little research and in case of RPG, there is a little charge that propelles the rocket out of the barrel. The rocket engine will start well away from shooter, thus there is no such backblast as in case of recoilless rifles(AT4 for example).

Proof that soldiers can survive the backblast and are willing to shoot RPG in CQB evironment:

yeah, but that doesn't mean It won't cause a mess in a close quarters setting.

I know we all love rpgs, at4s, etc. But ain't those weapons anti-tank weaponry? and as far as I know there are no tanks in TC games. why would we want rpgs? to shoot it at the feet of our enemies? Not cool and unrealistic.

If we really want something that could deal big damage to enemies without being too radicall, I would suggest weapons like china lake or similiar:

I think granade launchers would fit better in a cqb enviroment. Let's say their firing power is a little bit more moderated compared to rpgs.

I just wanted to clear some things up. I don't like this RPG idea either. I just found proof that it is possible.
Very good video, this shows that RPG does not have minimum arming distance like some others.

ET Legacy 2.74 is now released. I tried it with CQB and the menu sound loop issue is fixed, but Glock 18 on full auto is still a bit choppy.Seems that ET:L still cant keep up with it's rate of fire. Other than that, 2.74 seems to be stable for now.
