Made a little video of the standard ET leak effect --> http://goo.gl/app0iL

That's terrible :D but could work with a trigger that removes func_leak (?) either after a certain amount of damage or time so you don't get that many streams.
Again, it could be paired with an appearing floor decal.

And this is how this looks in MOHAA.

I do not think that visual effect would be 100% possible in ET :/ - I will look and see how it is done in mohaa, but i think its probably a prop_ or model with some special features. But it certainly looks better than ET leaky.

In MoH:AA barrel was a func_ entinity(with 2 types: oil and water). I tried to find it, but in pk3 I found only *.tik files for barrels and I didn't know how import it in GTK Radiant.

More realistic bullet mechanics:
Independent bullet velocity for each weapons[possible to do in cqb/tce engine? I hope there will be no problem for Coroner] and bullet travel time. We have good penetration system already.

I know ,there is something like simple bullet drop that we can find in cqb but maps are too small to play as long range sniper.

Once upon a time i was looking how it works in debug bullet mode and i have noticed
Image
As we can see, bullet tracer is broken in the middle of the screen. Shot was taken from Specops spawn area [338 LAPUA caliber type] so i think Coroner was messing around trajectory but i think that was a first step to implement bullet drop.
BY THE WAY
CORONER WHERE ARE YOU?

If I remember correctly, Cor did mention somewhere that CQB does have at least rudimentary projectile simulation.

Going back to the debugbullets :

Image
Image
Another point of view for 9mm
Image

Another bullet caliber, same shooting place [338 laupa]
Image

And bullet trajectory for 792x57
Image

Also
realistic weapon behavior simulation - Checked
sophisticated ballistic simulation including multiple-layer object penetration - Checked
Most realistic iron sight, reflex sight, and scope simulation - Checked
Real ballistic tracing including bullet drop - HELL YEAH
Bullet travel time - [?] I dont thinks so but i could be wrong.

To sum up - Great work Coro

To see if bullet travel time exists, you could set the timescale to an absolute crawl. Would do it myself, but don't have TC on my computer anymore.

Im gonna check that projectiles in timescale ASAP

EDIT
hmm i think, there is no bullet travel time but even if it is, in my opinion bullets are flying too fast, but then, is a one stable speed for all caliber classes but i could be wrong. 338 lapua - ok IRL this is a very fast and strong bullet [more or less 900 m/s] but 9mm and all kind of assault/smgs bullets should fly a little bit slower. Nonetheless, cqb [as a free game] has the best bullet physics, ever made. Even in battlefield: bad company 2 [my fav commercial game atm] you can't experience rics like this

But if there is no bullet travel time/velocity, how the bullet drop is calculated?

And if there is bullet velocity I have an idea: if weapon has suppressor, the muzzle velocity should be less than speed of sound so there won't be an sonic boom. And therefore you get a lot more bullet drop if you select suppressor from deployment menu.

I have no clue, need to ask Cor, but i think this is not so complicated.

This is already done and i discovered that 20 mins ago :D

I wondered, why not suppressed rifle has almost no bullet drop
Example nr1
Image

Tracer line is practically straight.
Example nr2

Image

Highest line is there, where i had my "target"
Lowest is there where bullet was hit.

Now, example nr3 where rifle was suppressed so i had to aim more than half of fourth chevron on scope reticle and THIS IS HOW I LOVE TO PLAY.

Image

Conclusion
CQB means close quarters combat so bullet drop is not needed BUT Coro, makes insane things with an old et engine, also show me what game today has such a good telescopic sights.Battlefield series? Niiiiiiiiga please, just zoom + reticle + darkened field of view = bleh. Call of duty series? HAHAHA what a joke. Insurgency? Yes but - no projectiles and weapon mechanics. Red orchestra 2 was pretty good as well but you cant make your custom content. Yada Yada. New features like POLISHED PIMPED REFINED bullet drop, travel time, velocity and all kind of those things. would be nice. Custom content for cqb is not a problem, believe me. This is my CQB wish, to eliminate arcadish, point to point shooting also CQB has chance to become something more than claustrophobic FPS.

Need to find time again for TC.
ETL seems to be running CQB well now.

Nice to see you again Coro.
ETL has still that sound looping problem and u can notice weird latency between LMB and game reaction for each shot.
