So here are some issues I and some others found just playing for a few hours:


1.Hitting the walk button while crouched eliminates sound, but doesnt change speed itself.
2.Can continuously jump on crates, etc (keep hitting space bar)
3.Left lean pov bug? If coming up on corners oposite from each other person with right lean can see enemy before person with left lean. Practically whole upper body is seen by person who is right leaning.
4.Movement is drastically hindered when in the air, either falling or jumping. (had to increase sensitivity to be able to sprint correctly, but increasing sensitivity made free aim extremely difficult to handle)
5.The movement being hindered is also affected when walking over small things, cant even turn normally.
6.Free climb with/without perk is automated. Climbs by itself all you do is hit the space bar.
7.Stair bug, tapping space on stairs insta-kills you
8.Special class is still 1 knife slice to kill reguardless of perk
9.Shooting the shotgun will break bendable.
10.Remove the drifting when sprinting, running over any object causes ur model to practically slide. *New movement hindering during air time is probably the cause*
11.The Runner is way way too fast
12.knifing air shows where you are on radar
13.comando doesnt work?
14.regen perk is too fast
15.Specific combinations dont show knife visible on opposing team
16.Shotguns are over powered. Can long range across the map 1 shot kill, not enough spread im guessing.
17.After finishing full speed sprint, then starting again almost instantly you maintain same speed.
18.SG 552 Eotech & spas12 is invisible to opposing team (3rd person view)
19.Pronin takes stamina, and going to crouch from prone takes stamina.
20.Tapping space 2x from crouch uses no stamina to jump.
21.Boost jumping is back FTW!
22.Cant shoot through trash bags and pill bottle lookin things.
23.NO RECOIL when holding down free look and shooting weapon
24.Glock18 and Mini Uzi share ammo
25.Knife has no range


Edit: While sprinting, holding crouch reduces speed of sprint and use of stamina.

1. In the main menu there is a button called tc:e mods...
2. jumping is some strange, when u jump, u fall very slowly to the earth
3. the debug mode is on

1.) The "HDR" effects are a bit overpowered - the illuminated surfaces are too bright (almost white)

2.) Movement and aiming is a bit clumsy - turnig is slow,freeaim fast = can't set the mouse sensitivity on a comfortable level.

3.) The Limbo menu is too confusing - it really needs more convenient design.

4.) Mosberg is (IMO) a bit too powerfull on long range.

5.) Spawn points should be either team specific (but randomly selected) or scripted so that teamA member won't spawn behind teamB member. Random spawning is nice idea - it adds some variability to the map, but in current form it can be a bit annoying on moments.

6.) The game would greatly benefit from higher resolution textures. After all.. we are in year 2011 and most modern (2006 and on) graphic cards can easily handle 1024x1024 and 2048x2048 pixelsize textures.

"Exit TC:E" in the in-game menu.

Server crashes after 1 min for some reason (i will get logs later).

When you go to limbo menu, spectators "team" is always selected at first and you can accidentally join there.

Seemingly low gravity.
Damage is a tad bit low.
Stair death glitch still here.

I get a weird bug when I attempt to start a game, I get an allocation error for hunk, but my hunkmegs is set at 256.

Any suggestions?

Hey I used to play TCE 0.49b, I just registered so I could write down my pros and cons and to follow the Dev team on future updates.

Pros
-"Perk" system is a nice touch
-Great Graphics
-Guns look and sound great. (I still miss the m4 and m16 but the Rec-7 should do :P)
-Smooth gameplay
-Running around is fun and very challenging when running away from snipers
-HP regen is nice.
-Each side is unique in terms of weaponry
-Sniping is fun

Cons
- Some perks have no effects
-Respawn is a major letdown, in some cases the person you kill respawns behind you. It might be good in some maps that are HUGE but not in the current map. Each team needs to spawn in a safe area.
- Spawn protection. It's a must.
- Newcomers might get lost, the forum needs a guide to show new players the main ideas of CQB.
-Some guns have weird textures when someone drops them or you drop them (Some weird green red and blue lines)
-Knifing has a weird bug. When my friend tried to knife me, I wouldn't die since i was aiming down my Ironsights. Not sure if it's a bug.
-Instant respawn is a bad idea. Maybe 3 or 5 seconds before respawning.
-Teamkilling is common. Name tags are usefull and the minimap too but in close range people might shoot everywhere and from far away the name tag disapears.
-Team autobalance
-I can't seem to make a server for practicing with some friends.

So in conclusion, CQB is just amazing even with the minor bugs and major respawn issues. First hour of playing I had an amazing score ! :D
Now i'm off to play some more!

I like it but movements kinda feels weird feels kinda like Insurgency maybe make the feeling more TC/TCE ish Lean as a perk NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

overall a promising start oooooooohhh it's sexy
