Yeah a decent sniper for spec ops would be great but the team has already confirmed that they will not be adding new sniper rifles intill they add more SMGs/Pistols and intill the maps get bigger the sniper rifles in place a sufficent, the thing about it is that we need alot bigger maps for sniper rifles to be efficent. This is comming from a guy who plays sniper on every map most of the time. Right now I think the focas should be on giving the spec-ops a better side arm in complment with the R93. Because the beretta to be honest is pritty crappy compaired to the glock in my opinion. But of course thats just my preference.

Peace
Kozuka

Well, by the time your AA reaches 2, you would be able to access both the R93 and the DE. Both hard hitting weapons.

By the way, which is more powerful: the bolt-action ones or the silenced ones (the semi-auto unsilenced don't count)?

Bolt action is more powerful and is better accuracy, I pefur the bolt action sniper rifles for one quick shot that 90% of the time kills on one hit. But the semi is good for laying down lots of pain and the slicenced is good for not giving away your position but you still have to hit them with two or three shots to bring them down.

Peace

So, the SRS and the R93 are basically like the AWP in CS?

Why do the SIG550 and the Colt SPR not come with full auto modes? I believe they are full auto in real life.

i agree with koz, bolt actin in more powerfull and also more accurate . i played with the supressor gun and it wsa okay. had to take few shots in order to get a kill, with the bolt action before the enemy hears the sound or tries to look for me he is already dead.....lol have done it to lots of guys specilly in dem_hideout. definetly bolt cation is the way to go

It's a "pure anti-materiel and anti-armor rifle" so thats exactly what it IS for.
Anti-Armor refers to armored vehicles.

TC:E's lack of vehicles and destructible objects means we don't need weapons like this or the Barrett .50BMG.

.50BMGs can stop a truck no problem.

The Remington 700 in .308 would be ideal for Specops i think, i want one so bad. I have a Savage thats .270, but i really want a .308, especially the 700.

both those weapons would kill a person even if they didnt hit the target. The sheer force of the bullet wizzing by at a few inches to a few feet would rip skin apart. it would be pretty much unstoppable.
