This is soo shite. I played TC 6 months ago, on FU:: graphics no lagg at all.

I dont lag at full graphic, but some walls are flickering, if I go to a special location I will see other textures than the wall there. In in the map obj_village, when i see trees it seems fcked up.

Ive tried to lower the graphics, didnt help at all!

WHEN IM IN A BUILDING, I CAN SEE THE BUILDING BEHIND THAT WALL, + IT FLICKERS OMG!!

System specs:

Geforce 4200 TI (Love it)
450 GB S-ata HDD (40 GB used up)
AMDAthlon 1.70 GhZ
Asus motherboard
512 SDR RAM


I could play Truecombat without any flickering before, tried it now, it flickers + some other glue like shit. Screen:




This hangs me up, I cant damnit play. If my graphic card is overclocking, how to disable the overclock. PLEASE I NEED MAJOR HELP!

To underclock your GPU, presumably if it is already OC, restart your computer and go into the bios, under your videocard, there should be a listing on frequencies, try to lower it down or reset if possible. I suggest that you dont not OC any components when playing games as there are varying results either improving performance or rendering it unplayable depending on specific hardware.

I had the same problem, but when i enabled "Sinchronize every frame" in game options the problem disappered. Try it...

That would have to do with VSync. It syncs framerate to your monitor's refresh frequency. Turning it off cans how significant improvement in performance for almost all games but still dependent on your hardware capabilities.

Using Vsync prevents artifacts and tearing at the cost of performance.

yeah, I'm having the same problem, except it's not just in buildings. It's less of a problem the lower the res, but it still flickers. I'll try using vsync, it won't slow my game down seeing as I can crank everything up (including HDR ) and my system doesn't even flinch.

I have vsync off on all games and still dont get tearing or artifacts. The only problem I have in TCE is the hunkmeg crash
