Post subject: | Installing MDK |
Hello, I have downloaded and installed gtkradiant 1.4 (as suggested in a previous thread). I installed it and set it up to only have the ET gamepak as I don't need the other ones. I have downloaded the TC:E MDK, but I don't know where to put it? Do I put it with the enemy-territory gamepack (/usr/local/games/enemy-territory)? Thanks, Alvin |

Just unpack it into the same directory as gtk I think. I havent used GTK it a long time. However I am not sure if that MDK is in anyway updated for 0.49's new graphics yet. |

Thanks for the quick help, but I think it's not as easy as this. I did what you say but it didn't work. I also configured the editor by setting up an ET mod and wrote in the box fs_game "tcetest" (in the window project settings). The editor finds ET stuff but nothing related to the mod. ![]() BTW of course I am using Gtk Radiant 1.40 and the Enemy Territory version of it. |

The stuff in the MDK are just textures, lights, and objective scripts. I think you just make a map and link to those textures etc. |

Oh well thx, finally found the TC:E textures beneath the ET onces. Looks like everything works. Thanks again, I'm now going to test if I get maps to compile so they work ingame. |

Great. I hope your maps to some degree prevent anyone from doing spawnkilling. |
