Post subject:  CQB Weaponsounds mod

Hi!
I've been working on weapon sounds pack for CQB in my free time. I think that CQB is very good-looking game, but now is time that it weapons sounded better too. For a start I ripped Battlefield 3 sounds and tested how they worked and sounded on CQB_dim. Now there are sounds from various sources. For example majority of reload sounds are recorded from youtube gun videos to stick with real sounds. It is still in WIP stage because there is no open CQB yet so I don't have any reason to hurry with development. Assault rifle sounds are mostly ready, some other sounds too.

If new CQB is released maybe I will try to record some sounds. Needs decent equipment though, but is worth a try at least...

I have modified weapon shooting sounds, reloads and reverb.

REC7/VLTOR SBR reloads are same.
AKSU/AKM reloads are same.
VLTOR/SCAR bang are same.
AK suppressed sound is a test of imitating supersonic ammunition and suppressor.

CQB_dim mod, additional weapon models, muzzle flashes, misc sounds and other eye candy by Yourself[PL] and Dim$tar.

Is all audio in the latest video usable without copyright infringement?

Unfortunately not :(
So 3rd party for now. Youtube stuff is on grey area, probably no one would notice. Reloads are mixed together form multiple sources and probably are not recognizeble. But some of these "bang" sounds are still from BF3 and are slightly altered.

Nice one yks. Im sure you still remember my opinion. No need to repeat myself but shorty sound is the winner 8)
"bf-ish style" dynamic sound is really doable with et/tc.
Now, please grab your HEADSET [necessarily] open your mind and listen to the
OpenField reverb

Notice: Reload sounds are different inside and outside
Ofc i did "quick post effect" like compression and echoes on reload samples to show, how TC/ETsound system should behave if someone would be able to implement simple and adjustable compressor and reverb/echo/delay processor effect @ closed/open location.

I almost forget to mention about YT as samples source .Mostly, sound quality is poor cause of lossy flv format, even if video quality is good, say nothing of camera microphones and 30kg of other factors...
but good enough to boost TC content slowly.
