I know but the process is not simple and quick when compared to rendering the lightmaps externally (for me at least).

The main reasons why I like it are:
-render speed
-simpler lightmap resolution tweaking via the UV maps rather than grouping the brushes in Radiant, using the export command, etc.
-WYSIWYG

Nice to see you Damien.
It seems a great start although the perspective view does not help to understand.
You can try to bend less the toes of the back feet and bend more the pelvis to see if it is more natural.
