One week ago I started to work on obj_dedust map - the one base on Counter-Strike de_dust map. I did it, because the obj_dustlike map didn't meet our expectations, while the original map is very playable. So I took a deep breath and started my adventure with GtkRadiant.

Simons, that's awesome ! Since the 0.48 there was 2 remake of dust, none was really nice looking compared to the original.
Great idea to make this map deserve its place on the servers.

Maybe you could try to get some flying dust like in obj_raid ? would give nice ambience.

Great idea, I'll try with this.

Map is still compiling, merlin1991 explains me why it takes so long time - I made too many structural brushes (thanks that fps will be stable).

Thanks to merlin1991 I was able to reduce by a half an amount of structural brushes on map. I run again a compiler, map should be ready for release till noon (CEST time) :)

And thanks for all your opinions, we'll see tomorrow if the map is as playable as it looks like :)
