I heaven't checked out the map, only the screenshots. Is there a reason why the light looks so ugly in the open spaces? you got some nice stuff like the 5th pic, but I do miss some visible map borders (1st pic). ps: the later images had wrong urls Code: [url=http://url]http://img216.imageshack.us/img216/8973/20090902102009dockside.jpg[/url] is wrong the url=... part would be used if you want to have another text there instead so you do Code: [url=wheretolink]custom text[/url]
edit: okay I did dl the pk3 and was wondering wtf made it that big. So I checked it out and found out that you reincluded textures/models that are already shipped with tc:e. There are 2 reasons not todo that: 1st: you don't need to, if you want to use a stock tc:e texture in a custom shader simply use the fitting path in that map blatexture.tga line and you can use any shader/texture from tc:e in it's original form. 2nd: tc:e license, you actually go against it |

the office looks nice. the other parts? well can't say without testing. yep there are some strange looking things still going on, but it is still beta right? ![]() |

Yes it's Beta. I've used fogclip to reduce FPS, it's reason why you didn't see borders in first screen. Lights look "strange" probably because I used for compile -lightmapsize 128 and probably unnecessarily I have lightmapped some models and lightmaps on them blurry. I shouldn't have any problems with fixing this. Yes it's true that I reincluded 30 textures of 170 overall that I used and 5 models of 26, but I did it by mistake my intension wasn't go against any license. Even if I didn't add this textures and models pk3 file still was big. Personally think there is not big problem if file is 20 or 25MB. |
