Hi all,

so this map was an official map on true combat 1.1 on quake 3 team arena for you oldies youll all remember how this was probably the most popular map on q3 true combat

anyway i scaled it re textured it all added objectives bug fixed addedd doors windows etc lighting and this is the final release, if anyone has any thoughts and opions feel free to share

The original map was great in its time, but compared to the .49b maps it needs more details (some pilar or wire scaling seems fat now :)).

Few things that could help the map :
- A yellow sunlight would give a better athmosphere
- Adding more materials (wood sound, cant shoot through wood).
- More custom textures ? (or more bushes in the grass, etc ...)
- Some cars in the streets (too wide).

Just noticed A bombsite was flying in the air, apart that it's a great conversion.
(zomg cant resize pics ?)

There was also that map in a rainy night near a port ... was nice too.

thanks for your feedback woo, i didnt notice the flying bombsite hehe

i do agree that the streets are a little empty i just didnt want to make it lag and have slow fps, but ill leave it a bit more see what other suggestios people come up with then ill do osme changes , in the meantime im wokring on xmas and closecombat :)

The map works good on BC, but yeah a guy at the corner can *i-need-a-broader-vocab* up the whole street, few cars would be welcome.

Anyway it's a great initiative to revive those maps.

I think youve made a great start there scouse :D

But you have got to think in terms of landmarks, and the way we use them in tatics, areas need to be defined by the objects that live there. like red house on north or blue doors on delta.

Think of tweeking in thoes terms, then u can add the set dressing and see how much you can push the fps. :D

Nice map scouser, the idea of remaking it is great and it's just amazing! :D
