Post subject:  horror feel

no... im not going to suggest zombies, vampires, and ghost's,

what i wanna suggest are the effects/sound effects used in horror games,
such as hearing water drops falling from drain pipes
i like to see dead civilian body's with lots of bloods serounding the erea, meybe in the terrorist spawn erea or something, so u get the effect that the terrorist killed allot of innocent civilians before the match,
i want a darkish hall with lights that are flickering on the ceiling,
just the traditional horror effects,
i like a very quite "indoor" environment where u can hear industrial machine's running, this does also give that kinda horror effect imo,

Lots of blood and shadows are good. Load bg noises like a storm can be good too - or ppl screaming. Hehe.

a few dead civvies would be interesting, but not necessarily a lot, but I like the way they did it in standtrand with a bunch of bodies laying around.

and another thing i like to suggest,

a dead female body holding a little baby or child,
this will give TCe a more darker feel/style, wich is awsome imo.

I"m against that, because even though it would confirm the horros of war, who in thier right mind, terrorist or not, would willingly shoot a mother and her child. even if it's stray MG fire, they need to be shooting near them.

I think you used the wrong word. You might be looking for suspenseful because horror definetely means something else.

Suspense/Thriller would make you jumpy and keep you alert.

Horror/Macabre is meant to make you fear the unexplainable - may it be the paranormal or heavy gore.

BTW, keep in mind the difference between horror and suspense. Suspense usualy does not involve anything beyond the normal world. Horror is full of the paranormal. But not all paranormal themes are horror - some ar emore of action such as Resident Evil, Dawn of the Dead, Doom etc. What looks really scary is Clive barker's Jericho - check it out

horror:
an extremely strong feeling of fear and shock, or the frightening and shocking character of something:

horror:
things that are very shocking or frightening:

seeing a dead mother holding hear child is pretty much shocking and frightening "horror"

well not to all people. I see that more as gruesome. Also, dark hall ways with flickering lights isnt frightening.

Anyway we cannot depict too much gore (even that counts as gore) in the game. It will spark up controversy.

and thats when TCe will start to gain popularity, violence attracts allot of people trust me, btw... this whole game is rated M. so it doesnt really matter if there is some gruesome gore in the game.
