PunksBusted decided not to protect You from chtz because they could not connect via ET client to a TC:E server. Therefore TC:E aint game supported by them =) so we turned off stream to punksbusted.com - bye bye =) Thanks LayerS for PBB!

also due lack of intrest in our new maps we are doing small reconfiguration:

New features recently introduced to the server:


1. Bugs and exploits protection has been corrected
On the wave of recent events that the TCE community was served by an individual with [nC] tag (server crashes) we have strengthen the game security by introducing improved fixes to protect against the use of server bugs (15 nades , crash commands). Fixes relates to the known methods of bugs exloiting that we were able to detect using the unique system of tracking suspected players (their client-server activity is loged). Of course, there could be other unknown methods, however running our system will help to record not desirable activities and protect against them in future. At the moment, any use of unauthorized commands results with the client removal from the server (before the command has time to harm) and loging all client actions.
PS: fix concerns the methods that are not currently captured by DutchFix but the DF plugin itself is still present on our servers (now it's DF1.6)


2. An extensive system of scripts for GMSM
We have recently completed work on our own system of scripts to GMSM, and its beta is now available on servers. What's new is introduced? Well, first of all, all the scripts were written from scratch, with emphasis on the optimization, so they do not affect adversely the quality of the game. Among the innovations that have been added in relation to the basic version are:

* Kill events, which displays additional informations during the death of opponent (including the DR=Damage Rate and a color higlight related to amout of DR)

* Built-in system for measuring the killing / death spree - from now on game deals with it, not the external application such as ETAdmin_mod

* Internal statistics - information about the player's statistics are automatically collected by the server, such informations are displayed at the beginning of each map / round, and by the !stats (you can also see stats of other players by typing !stats [part_of_nick])

* Reward system (called awards) - based on internal statistics, we have created a system of rewards, those are, inter alia, such things as: Best Fragger, I've got no friends (most team kills), or Jack the Ripper (most knife kills) - this is only part of the awards list implemented (to check all type /awards)

* Information about the maps rotation on the server - in increments of 5 minute current map name and the name of the next map is displayed on the top of the screen. In addition, the !maps command displays whole map cycle, with a yellow highlight of present map.

* A anti-flamewar system - the server rules prohibits the use of vulgar words and initiating flame. We introduce a restriction on using of words that are inconsistent with server regulations. Individual breaking that rules gets a warning - 3 warning involves automute, which can only be removed by the person who has such privilages - mute does not expire! In addition, reconnect in most cases does not help, because the session is saved on the slot, so if the culprit reconnects to a slot from which he hung up, mute will continue. If even the mute is removed by admin / ref, status of 3 warnings remains - so if the player is caught abusing again, he is automutated with no further warnings.
PS: the system does not work on our TS server, there may be a verbal blast at will (within the common sense of course:))

* Expanded player levels system - the servers has unique rank system witch unlocks some of the player command levels (the higher level, the more commands are aviable). Moreover levels remove some limitations - the higher levels it is more times can we vote, or "play" more sounds. In addition, the person with the lower levels can not raise vote to kick player who has a higher rank. How to get level? The easiest way - simply to play on the server long enough to get 1'st level - Server Friend. Other Levels are intended for members of Team AK-47.PL, persons who wish to support financially the server or for refs / admins. The script also allows us to create virtually any number of levels. List of current levels on the server may be displayed by command /levels (shows also list of players with a given level).

* Other additional commands - the server has been also implemented with another, additional commands (such as private messages, etc..), Their list is available by typing /helpme (only commands for your level are shown)

* Sounds and voice commands - you can find a number of voice commands (use them with "exclamation point" on the console or the chat window). Their list is available by typing /saycmds (as with /helpme - displays only your level commands)

* Commands for adminis/refs - we have implemented a system of scripts allowing us to completely abandon ETAdmin_mod. From now on all commands are supported by the server, they are also called in silent mode (they are not ETAdmin_mod commands with an exclamation point, but normal so-called slash commands). Server is not loaded with ETAdmin_mod process, which constantly monitor the server log.

* Colorful nicknames in the chat - characteristic for AK-47.PL servers are nicknames displayed with a full palette of colors, not how it is on almost all servers - in a single shade of white.



I mentioned above and described the basic elements of the system, there are also a few minor changes to the standard game, but they relate to matters that are not visible to the naked eye. There are few new features being created, which for lack of time (and sometimes also of ideas) will appear over time on the server. The main advantage of this system is that it does not force players to download additional files from the server! Well, maybe beside the pak file with the sounds, etc.:)

I hope that these efforts have not been in vain and the time spent by players on the server will be passed in a good atmosphere and entertainment. We want our servers to be as most unique as possible and to offer a maximum fun for TCE comunity.

PS: The above features are also available on the server 47.PL AK-OBJ and additionally a number of additives, which are intended to spice up the game in that specific mode (such as the system auto-score). Strongly encourage you to visit both servers! :)

please remove akn_12 it was bad in cod 4 and plays even worse in tce.
I'm actually disconnecting everytime the map comes on especially as most people just camp on the roof.

And also why can't I reconnect when I get kicked because of loosing key packets? instead I have to wait one or 2 minutes.
