Here goes simple installer for all paks that are working at ak47| SERVES... including newest obj_dedust_final. Now all You need to do to play at our servers is to run installer ant point your tcetest directory (default set to C:\Program Files\Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\tcetest\). Well forgive me for only microshit support for now... thats v1... better functionality comming at upcoming releases Now You have all paks at one download so enjoy next gen will add cvars that are included at our servers... File name: "www.ak-47.pl_v1.msi" Size: 130.34 MB http://dl.getdropbox.com/u/1970904/www.ak-47.pl_v1.msi //edit im thinking about making an installer like our asian friends did witch will include most maps that are played atm, playable cfg, and automatic pb update ~1.5gb i think //edit2 - full windows installer including maps paks and cfg release max in 7 days |

Our current map cycle is: Railhouse - Villa 2.1 - Northport - Closedown - Delta - Dedust - Village - Extended Classic - Stadtrand - Libary - Complexity - Thal 2 IMHO Closedown, Extended Classic & Libary are to delete... I would add obj_town_and_metro - obj_heliport_bynight - obj_vorot - obj_office ... Any ideas? We are asking for players opinion =) |

obj_office is a must for any decent server --> no server is good atm and I think of obj_werk_ost too, it's a great map |

From my own opinion and from the feedback we got on force servers, i would say that on bodycount it is good to get big maps : it avoids spawnkilling. Plus if you want people to like the map it has to get a good quality (official ' like) and with a fair balance : no advantage for one team. And as admins of servers, you have to follow your players, if people request to remove a map, even if its one of the best, you have to do it (yes its sad sometimes) : yes it is your server, but the server is online for them ; right ? Few ideas : - I cant remember the name of that map (a remake from Americas Army) it was good map. - obj_oldtowne from stealth is interesting too, players will be everywhere on the map. - obj_town&metro best architecture ever. - obj_jackalsnest (1st release) big map with many ways. |
