An interesting thing to be heard from comunity: What are the 10 more important maps of TCE? The objective of this post is offer an interactive way to decide the question proposed above. I know that guys are working hard on the maps, and probably Coroner may have in mind something about these 10 maps, but and rest of community? I know that a hard work needs a big motivation , but it could mean that the people opining about some maps (not entire pack, having in mind that team have maps with work in progress already) could help offering a more clear goal to the team about it. If it was decided already, this reply is unusefull, but if no...

Keep up good work :)

If it will work no problem I can convert all my old maps to COD4:
obj_tm_garage / obj_tm_darfur / obj_tm_killhouse ...

Just little comment regarding statement "he believes there would be a game-wide standard.". We should be happy that developers even release any SDK

Little sad that TC will not be free anymore as base COD4 is commercial product 10-25 EUR.

Hi Varsovie

Since that work with porting maps are in progress now, I think that you could send a PM to Coroner and guys to offer them your help.

Regarding this:
Coroner has been busy recreating the MW2 map "Favela".
Is it worth reinventing the wheel? (Clickidy!)

No Haraldz, but probably map needs to be rescaled.

And furthermore, did you really think I didn't know this, did you really think I hadn't tried contacting the author, do you think that a map without the source to make changes and rescaling fits TC?

whats about a page on Moddb?

I think it would be better if there was a working thing Coroner can present to people, and then creating the ModDB page.

I also think that the earliest point for moddb is when the first version of the mod is finished.

If you are relating to something like v1.0 and not something like an alpha/beta version, then I have to question are you really sure about that. The TC community is small enough, some will most likely not even going to transition over to CoD 4. Already existing CoD 4 players will most likely have no idea what TC is, and will just pass. At this moment, a question arises - will the amount of feedback be enough. The chances are we are indeed looking at a quite small playerbase for the initial releases. If you are refering to the first public release ever going to happen, then you can safely ignore whatever the hell did I just mention.

You're overthinking this. Sure, the mod needs some PR but we need a bit more time to work on the visuals for that. I think the MODDB page can wait a bit for that, and I believe that is what coroner ment.
