Hello guys ! Sorry for the big up on this topic, but I'm trying to get a CBQ dimmod server to run in objective mode, but I can't find a way to do it.
So my question is : is it possible to play objective mode on CQB ? If so, how ?

Nope, CQB only was fitted for Bodycount aka TeamDeathmatch.

Glad someone puts a server up, plz keep them botz away PLZ !

Mmh, sad it is or the objectve mode... well me & my friends will then probably play tc:e ;) .

Congratulations!

Genial reform deserves a server elite now.
But I think that should do before a walkthrough, not to have doubts and to ensure stocking.
A video lesson would excencial with download links and tutorial in the video descriptions.

Together with the, at least under linux, rather complicated installprocess and the manual pb fixes that have to be applied afterwards the whole tce "thing" (website and offered packages) needs a complete overhaul to get a solid base (back?).

My Suggestions:
* coroner could build a standalone of this Dimmod ontop of ET:L and release it as TCE 0.50
* CQB could be labled as a "proof of concept build"
* the website should be reworked and the CQB section removed ( leaving only q3tc, tce 0.50 and mwtc ).
* standalone packages of q3tc, tce 0.50 should be created
* detailed install manuals for all available packages including pb links and tips

** with cqb removed ceasars tangodown could, if finished go into a new to to be created website section together with mwtc as mods, while q3tc and tce 0.50 remain standalone packages.

sorry for putting all this into this thread. But IMHO your work is just too fine to not be, in one way or the other, be fully integrated into the tce franchise.

I agree that Caesar77 'Tango Down' Should have it's own site but who know's, fingers crossed Coroner may put together finally open package of cqb so there's no more messing around with windows servers for dimmod files!! Nice to see CTF mode working (:

He has expressed his opinion regarding this, stating that CQB never was meant to be TCE 0.491 or 0.5

Jussi, I see nice additions to the weapon models.

If I get at the next cqb release, will you or others be interested in beefing it up like this?

I was shocked how good the game and feel looks in the vid.

The weapons/skins mod was created by Yourself[pl] you can see a lot of his work at shotzone BC. I think it's a fair assumption that when unlocked cqb is released he will create better paks for it. Unfortunately he is unable (like most other Polish Devs) to make an account here to speak for him self.

Out of curiosity, do you think some potential content creators could form a potential team to improve CQB in the model and map department?

The vert/brush/mesh limitations are engine dependent and could, of course, be overcome with ET:L or another modified ET engine.
