Same as you wouldn't stand on your head and shoot with your toes.. if you lean *around a corner* and not raising your weapon to look along or just next to the weapon and leave it like that you would shoot the wall or your toe..^^

My Wish List:

1.Ability to use knife without having to pull it out first. COD style; press V and u knife.
2.Melee attack with gun, possible replacement for knife lunge. Simple hit with bottom of weapon causing enemy screen to shake and aim to sway much more.
3.Ability to prone quicker. The old man prone is lame. 15% increase?
4.Gun to come up quicker when returning from sprint/prone.
5.For accessories to make distinct sound when they hit the ground. EX:Grenade makes louder noise hitting the ground and bouncing around than smoke/flash. Higher pitch vs lower pitch vs weight etc.

Iffy Wish List:
6.More animation when pulling out a weapon. Pistols are at the sides of the hip ( or wherever ) have animation show hands reach to the side and bring weapon up. Same goes for primary, since its on the back of the model. Have hands showing a reaching motion toward the back and grab the weapon. Grenades, etc in pockets on the jacket/pants.
7.Recon, Assault, Sniper classes make distinct sound when sprinting/walking.


Finally: ( also most important wishlist ) For Hoak to stop trying to start flame wars by saying people: "...I think few here appreciate how much work is involved in what may seem to be some of the more trivial features, or what they feel are trivial feature requests." yattta yatta yatta.

Because psst.. hoak, thats what making a game is all about. Criticism, some take it well ( like coroner ) others ( like you, though no one cares ) bleed from their finger tips because they wont stop complaining about others complaining.

My wish is to add a smaller 0.49 map or two (if possible) to the next update so players have more variety to test with (because just 1 constant map can become boring after a few hours :P)

My main wish is that the game leans more towards realism, like ArmA 2 and further away from casualness of CoD games; without making things tedious obviously.

Short list of things I'd like to see added,

-more melee-based attacks/takedowns; keeping them sensible of course
-team hand signals
-more types of multiplayer modes; I think recall some being dropped when going from Quake 3: True Combat to TC:E? (hostage rescue, escort, disarm bombs, CTF, defend/attack a stronghold, occupy an area for x amount of time similar to old King-of-the-Hill, rioting mode where you defend a position against rioters without killing them)
-civilian models and melee weapons for scenarios involving riot-like problems
-non-lethal weapons and riot gear to take on rioters
-"kill house" training mode for making maps that a single player or team runs through and shoots enemy targets and avoids civilians
-"hit-the-dirt-prone" to instantly drop to prone while sacrificing a bit of time getting to iron sight mode

This one is a bit out there,
-...dogs....each controlled by a player in 1st person view

Long list of things I really don't want to see added,

-HUD live grenade indicator
-quest arrows/mission indicator arrows
-motion blur when moving your view around
-blood splattered across the screen when hurt
-wallhack/3D spotting (sighting an enemy and still seeing that enemy for a short time after they’ve gone around a corner)
-instant respawns
-snap-to-enemy aim-bots/aim-assist
-bullet time/time freeze/slo-mo
-Quick Time Events
-achievements that have nothing to do with furthering the gameplay
-on-screen cross hairs
-regenerating health
-all-knowing mini maps
-one-button, instant-kill, melee attacks (unless from behind perhaps; like a throat slash)
-checkpoints

It is good to see some real activity with TC. It's been YEARS.

Grenadier perk for carrying two nades would be cool. Clearing those upstairs can be sometimes annoying, when there is multiple enemies camping. Double nades should do it.

I mostly go for what I think of as TR elements of gameplay. I wont say what others have said, but here's a couple of things:
- Ability to use different types of ammo, like in SWAT4 (HP vs FMJ or slug vs Buckshot, etc), AVP2 also does this to a lesser extent. I don't know if this is even possible under the WET engine, but it would be cool.

- (Prompted by the poll) Instead of the unrealistic "blood-spatter" effect, have the location-based-damage effect the performance of the limb (e.g. slower running for leg shots, more sway etc for arm-shot, greatly reduced stamina for chest-shot). These effects could go away after a little time, like the blood spatter, or take a second or two to manifest and then slowly go away. In combination with decreased fov and/or color wash-out I think this would be great ... but maybe play-testing would reveal otherwise?

- Maybe a health system sort of like UrTerr (as much as I hate that game) or OpFlashpoint:DR, where after a certain amount of damage you start to bleed out?

- Ah yes, I already mentioned this but more frenetic feeling sprint/run would be good and, in my mine, increase the immersion factor.

I like the idea of more grenades for a granader perk, I read a urban combat manual from US gov and they said use as many 'nades as possible with bringing the buildings down on yourself; that said you'd have to increase the 'nade tk punishment to discourage spamming.

I might think of more...

If coroner decided to keep the perks, maybe it would be good idea to give ideas/feedback now, before it is too late.

With the "grenadier" it would be probably a good idea to give the Techkit (to future OBJ-mode) with an perk for faster defuses and plants. Using nade spot for this sucked always. So maybe "bomb specialist" or something? :lol: :lol: :lol:

Does the engine allow things like faster weapon change or faster reload? Increasing/decreasing the footstep sounds? Can those make you hear opponent quick chatting? Maybe they would be overpowered, dunno.

Now that we have that new awesome compass, maybe somekind of "jamming device" would be one perk idea. With that the enemies wouldn't see you in their compasses as an red dot? Again, not sure if that is possible. This would be more efficient during funwars anyways.

I think that the "steady aim" is quite powerful, maybe it would be possible to change the accuracy only when you are really aiming? I think it also affects the "hip-firing accuracy"? True?

"Commando" is a pretty neat idea, but the Sniper slot 1 still kills with one knife slash, maybe it would give people courage to try this perk, if it would do something else also, like reducing (or totally preventing) falling damage? Maybe even make the knife range longer?

Somekind of Sniper-related perk would also be cool. Maybe one that really makes the sight bigger? Takes away most of the sway? Or maybe one that just decreases the recoil?

I don't enjoy the fast regen very much, so maybe just an simple perk to give you slightly more armor. Slightly, maybe just 20% or less. It should punish you also, like make you move slower or even take so much room, that it would be only perk you can take.

Do away with commando replace with Samurai perk instead of knife you get a flippin sword

another perk idea wall jumping ie Urban Terror would be sick dawg

my fantasy perk would be ability to rise a dead guy and turn him into zombie might be good for down the road as you know all games need a zombie mode these days

Changes looks good can't wait to test online (TY for LEAN :D)

One thing about freelook should be to limit the angle cause as it is right now if u push a bit too far u can see ur trunk. Don't know if i'm clear maybe a pic could explain it more clearly i'll try to get one asap.

Remove the regeneration (which is way too fast at the moment), make the player bandage himself. Could remove the "painkiller" perk and add medic perk instead, to make the bandaging process faster.

Bandages could be like nades, you get say maybe 1 or 2, and if you spend slots you could get more, maybe 2 or 3. Though this is pretty much pointless with the current game as the spawns are what they are.

I'm +1 for bandages thingy...
btw..a small wish would be able to add acog/red dot on pistols...
And maybe a variant for melee weapon... have some choices... why not a shovel? (G.I. one).

yea that sounds like Combat Arms sh**, flame me or not, we've right to dream..eh?
