tho i dunno how much influence on cqb this thread really has/had^^ (and i just noticed it needs some updates :/ damn lazy op^^)

i would kill for that map. better than i ever though.

and people wanted updated GFX engine :no: we no need any.

I just hope that 31st of this month is really the deadline this time, and we will see more maps soon too. No need to change the old ones too much. With fewer player support they won't be any bigger at least i hope.

Also I would have loved to see the amount of recoil on full auto.

i got enough good "sense of recoil" from first video (free aim, with UMP), it looked very good.

The map looks amazing. Great use of models, contrast and lightmaps.

The weapon handling is unlike anything I've seen in a FPS. It feels spot-on, just from watching the video(s).

Are the 1st person leg models still there?

Whoaaa that looks completely different!!! Almost real. It's hard to believe, that with "minor tweaks" the W:ET engine looks so different! Or do I get that feeling just because it's recorded with cam? ^^

I bet he could get a cool job at Respawn Ent. :D

it looks absolutely amazing, I had no idea such level of details was attainable with the W:ET engine; wall textures most of all are stunning.

So haven't checked in on TCE for a while today I ran out of stuff to do on the net and just decided to check out whats up here and low and behold CQB wowzers to be honest I had my doubts that CQB would come to fruition. Well hows the gang doing

I really hope they add capture the flag to CQB asap, that's what made q3tc great for was the #1 most played, most fun gamemode. Truecombat needs CTF!

Well.. TCE has CTF mode, but is quite boring because stock maps are not CTF-friendly. I've ported one of the original q3tc maps to tce (skirmish) and it has (besides nice custom q3tc 1.2 style OBJ mission) really nice CTF layout, but its filesize of 60Mb and a bit longer map loading (high resolution textures) scared all server admins away.. :roll:
