Great! I had given this mod up for dead, best mod ever btw, good to see the devs back, if only we could get this thing out from under W:ET, or make both a one click install.

Ok, after going back and actually reading through the thread, I gather that TCE is not going to be patched or updated at all, but rather a mod of TCE called Close Quarters Combat?

Thats unsure yet...can't jump to conclusions. He might release a fix after he releases his CQB mini-mod project, since it'll transfer the same bugs (hitbox, stairglitch, and all that good stuff) to it.

I just would be able to use those nice weapons ... im tired to play with cubic models in TCE cause custom weapons are not the fashion here :evil:

there a have been a couple of custom weapons in TCE and many of them looked really good, the problem in my mind was that some of those custom guns just felt off when it came to accuracy and damage, though there have been a couple like the Sig P226 (I think) and UZI that were just perfect and felt like weren't custom guns.

I will just call 2 guns : the TYPE89 and the reworked SIG552 or even the reworked UMP45 by M@tild@ were perfect weapons in terms of accuracy (no aligment bug and the damage is quiete standard in ET).

But i agree a bit karate, custom weapons werent loved by the community even if i remember force main had found a fair balance between custom weapons and low download amount, just sad most of the servers didnt use it too.

About coroner's last post, this concept sounds perfect ; a lot of people have been expecting this from TCE.

Coroner, it's good to see you're still interested in game development -- you've got an amazing legacy of game design that's been a forerunner and inspiration to many.

Don't take any of negativity to heart -- it's a tiny minority of the people playing your games commenting, and your intuition has always been sound and found an audience.

Btw what ever happened to Elite 626? That looked like such a fun and brilliant idea for mod!
