delta: near T spawn, Northport: the long house in the middle of the map, Railhouse: stairs up to the bridge, stairs down to the tunnel before the steamroom.

This bug is more server related than anything else.

Invader did u try online or on devmap?

On Heros standard, this bug can kill u instantly or makes u teleport... dunno if someones remember Vicious small vid he was showing it already.

On Force main server we didn't have this but a nice vertical fly when u tried to double jump it was less annoying cause u still had a chance to survive

It must have something to do with clipping part in mapping.
Railhouse is one of the most bugged :
- in warehouse u can get killed by boxes & barrels.
- outside box & in front of tunnel u can get kill by the 2 lil walls, mostly by the one in front of tunnel. There's a little angle if u run & double jump towards it u get insta-killed.
On Northport the yellow barrel, terror side towards A, is pretty deadfull too. u can get stuck & if u try to jump u get hurt or killed ... so fun :D

SH*T what kind of bugs are these?!?! lolz run into wall and you die xD Well perhaps it was because i didnt play on a official server. I tried it on Shotzone Czech BC and ak-47 BC

now i see how deadly hardcore tce players are here :lol:

The stair bug happens only at Massa and HeroS Standard. Dunno why, but isnt it realism xd.. you fall in stairs

exactly it's a feature. You all try to run in the stairs while totally exhausted and on top of that making hight jumps. You will all fail, miss a step, which leads to you fall and a broken head!

talking about suicide, here comes an idea: how about a "feign death" button? :D i could totally find use for it in objective games or CTF.

Imagine: your buddy took the enemy flag, you know he will get killed, so you just wait for it to be returned as you play dead :) notsosmart ppl will just pass by you :D then the flag appears you stand up and just take it :)

Nah people just get extra fobia and start thinking every body will be alive which causes kinfe teabaging over people and too many waste magazines.

Body fobia=bodys more important than match ----> newbs got killed because they think every body jumps on its feets in a moment. :wink:

most of the ppl wouldn't care, cause most of the ppl play BC. The 1 problem with feign death in a lot of games is, that you can see the body still holding the weapon, not fallen off somewhere :)

hey i got a fancy idea :P

Well bots are important feature for a game like true combat (less players, testing maps and stuff, online game dies ----> someone allways keep those memorys living.)

Tc:e bots for CQB was nice addition but it wont offer much fun because its frustrating aimboting and heavy rely on weapon accuracy which causes lots of rage and anger sometimes.

Well true combat bots were wonderfull so i was thinking is it possible to port those good ol bots to CQB ? not in the first alpha but if you have enough will and free time maybe then? Im not even sure is it possible or does it affect into punkbuster support (it shouldnt since enemy territory didnt have bots but allowed to mod ones) simply i just though idtech3, free== w:et engine, free ----> w:et is lighten version of idtech 3 ----> coding language is same and as much as other stuff are close to other :D

How about a total modular system ?

Player spent a determined number of points into options, same number for everyone.
Then he choose some stuff (there is some only terro'stufff, and some only specop stuff).

Exemple :
----- weapons ------
- Knife : 0 point (automatic)
- M4 : 3 points
- Glock or berreta : 1 point
- UZI : 2 points
- R93 rifle : 3 points
etc....

----- grenades --------
- Offensive grenade : 2 points
- Defensive grenade : 3 points (bigger area)
- Flashbang : 2 points
- smoke : 1 point

----- other stuff -------
- Medikit : 2 points (one use only, take time to use, on self or on other one)
- Body armor type III : 1 (little more resistance, little less rapidity)
- Body armor type III with plat : 2 (more resistance, less rapidity)
- Body armor type IV (with plat) : 3 (biggest more resistance, more less rapidity)
- Add silencer on weapon : 1 point
- Add 1 more Munitions on weapon : 1 point
- bomb kit : 2 points
- laser aiming : 1 point

Then, some new ideas can be added like :
- night vision
- stroboscopic flash on weapon (I saw it in the 8th saison of 24h chrono, LOL !)
- heat detector
- camera eye (permit to see without to be seen at a corner)
- grapped wire ("corde avec grappin")


LET's try with it :

TOTAL NUMBER OF POINTS TO SPENT : 12

I choose a classical "assault" guy with :
- M4 (3 pts)
- Berreta (1 pts)
- offensive grenade x1 (2 pts)
- Body armor III with plat (2 pts)
- Medikit (2 pts)
- Smoke x1 (1 pts)
- 1 more M4 munition (1 pts)

It's just an example, prices need to be more balanced.
