and even the strongest soldiers will eventually get tired. Has anyone played Red Orchestra? When you aim with the sights, i doesnt sway at all, but the longer you hold them up, eventually youll get tired and they start swaying. That would be a nice addition to hinder camping.

Yet, back on topic, if this was to be modeled correctly, only a proper skeletal animation system would make it easier to do.

This may be an old picture of me, being that I am more athletic now...

Enjoy

Now I jog about 3 miles every day, non-stop jogging that is, and can max out benching at 275 lbs.

I also play airsoft with semi-realistic weapons. I have an AK-47 airsoft gun that is supposedly the same weight as a regular AK-47. It isn't so light.

I've also shot a UMP 45. That gun is kind of heavy. Now with the recoil, that son of a bitch can be strenuous on your muscles.

And if any of you want me to take an updated picture of my muscle. Feel free to ask. ;)

but thing is there isnt any good tool to animate skeletal animations,
unless the devs write there own program/tool, adjust the wet_engine to the tool, this program/tool, must make it easier to animate stuff, instead of coding stuff per vertex, this tool should like contract all the vertexes,
just a small concept idea.

Ooh, what's this Dragon? An offensive post? Wow, I could totally close this topic. I could also close seeing that this was another thread in the past that was probably moderated and moved to Florida which only raises my reason to lock this thread and send it to the land of no return.

But you shouldn't worry about my closing of this topic seeing that you could just as easily create another carbon copied topic.

that idea isnt possible, that would still require the use of skeletals but used it a different way.

They dont need another editor, they just need the MD4 codes rewriten into the engine code and possibly the skeleton object tool made for the editor they are using.

I thought we clarified this the last time this topic was created. :?

But what do I know, I'm just some disrespectful, ignoramus Moderator.

you said that md4 was impossible to use on the wet_engine...

Yes it is. I don't know why, I just recall him saying that it was.

You have to remember that we are dealing with a pretty old engine. There's so much that ISN'T compatible with the WET engine.

If I can find information on the WET Engine and what it can and can't do, I'll post it here so we can avoid making future topics about things it isn't compatible with.

It isnt impossible but rebuilding the deleted MD4 is and doing that is beyond the legal agreement of the WET EULA and they cant to that. They would have to get the code for MD$ from someone who has it then port the game to the GPLeds version of the Q3TA engine. So you see the amount of trouble they have to go through.

Pfft, that looks like nothing, I do 50 pushups and situps a night, then 30 in the morning, have been since 7th grade, trying to get myself ready, should I want to go to a branch of the military, want to be good and strong, and not have to go through physical class, my god thats got to be enbarassing, and back to the topic.

Yes Xeno, I have played RO, very good game, not a game for a first timer to FPS.

duh... and who are you calling a first timer? It has many features that most FPS games dont have and those make it more realistic. Especially where you can setup a supported bipod and gun on any surface you can find even if yourre standing. That way, just put on the support and there really wont be much swaying.
