Old discussion. The devs may be able to change the anims (this is an animations issue) with the software bought from the donations last year. It seems to be difficult but it might be possible. They know about the silly arm. Everyone knows.

it's like if you look at the FN FAL screens, the hand is holding the mag. it's a thing to do with the whole placement and that one is designed fo the thonpson, I think, which has a lower heatshield.

I don't really care about those little piddly things, but I never noticed it before.

and yes, the models are great 8)

In fact it's not easy to change anims within WET engine. It's not like Splashdamage wanted it to be mod-friendly (like Source i.e.).

But what about the model itself? It's not new, it's the TC:E 0.48 model with the hideout/village skin. Not even Trauma's new models with modeled accessoires. I don't get the point regarding that certain "news update" you mention.

Ah, I see. Well, it doesn't look like the model is new. Maybe some detail on the skin (can't remember if it always had those black stripes on the legs....maybe for a knife or something), the face isn't generic ET anymore, too. Looking at the kneepads, I have the feeling this is some sort of mixture between the skins for Trauma's new models and the old ET ones. I don't get why they don't use Trauma's models for 0.49. We already saw many shots with them ingame. There was also an unofficial video once. Much more interesting is the rest. This might be a mapshot from railhouse. The wooden gate is new. The fence in the background. And have a look at the new textures for the floor. Those look great.

Ah, thank you for the info. Wow. The basement really improved visuals-wise. I started a thread over at tc.com. Tried to "analyze" that screenshot a bit ;)

Well, the screen was one taken in late February by Bruce. I needed some ingame model shots for various things, so he sent me some.

I had nothing really "new" to post, so picked that. I figured you guys have seen too many map shots - you might as well see some models for a change! :)

i would love to see traumahawk's models in the game,

im still wondering if we will ever see his models in the game,

Very true. His work combined with the new look of the maps (realistic scaling/textures) would make TC:E really ultra-top-quality. I still wonder what the reasons for not implementing could be?
