You just seem to follow the wrong game. TC:Elite will be totally different from what you expect. They have a different set of target groups and if it doesn't suits you, then you might want to follow another project, since it is good-for-nothing to bash a non-profitable oriented team for something, that they do not have in their design documents - or do not wish to add at all.

There are enough games for everybody out there and if all the other games are so cool and good, then the constant visitor may wonder, why you still flood this boards, when it is of low quality or will never have such nature - as you wish.

I am sure that there are some self-help groups for "chronical brainstormers" out there too, somewhere´!

again. Although TCE tries to realistically show the effects of gun combat it is by no way meant to depict a momentary conflict in history. Its rather something phased out of time like bad 80's action flicks that has weird characters and trashy surroundings, any sort of futuristic stuff would be totally off here unless we wanted to go Running Man or something like that. A better example would be Escape from NY where the future looked more outdated than the current time actually looked. I hope that with future versions of TCE we can bring more of that back to the game with better player models that resemble those old ones more than the current ones do.
Again we dont wanna go unrealistic either, just keeping it true to the overall design of TC's legacy. And we have zero plans to ever change that.
the next version will bring back a lot of memoribilia from older releases.

is your "r" key broken? just wondering...

if the front windscreen is on a car, I would reccomend you split the diff. and make it bulletproof for 9mm ammo (if possible, just a little "meh" thing) I'm not 100% sure if it can stop a 9mm, but from the looks of the glass on an '89 honda prelude, I would imagine that modern cars might be able to.

HALF of your suggested "features" would make the game very arcadeish, or push back releases a year or two. also, they would be IMPOSSIBLE for third-party mappers to implement. and don't whine about how third party maps are "evil" because half of them are very good, and I'm willing to bet that one or two will eventually become official (dem_snowtown would be nice to see)
I would rather NOT wait five ears for a pure content release, and have a zillion bugs everywhere, than to have a series of content-less or low-content bugfixes.

now lets get back on topic:

I'm dissapointed about the delay, but I could care less. I have a job, I have other games/mods (hell, I just got the last custom map needed for fritzbot) and I have hobbies. I've been waiting just uner a year, and I can cope. if all else fails, do a ton of ET maps, the release will come very fast after that
