read evrything attentively!!!

i have a suggestion about the ranking system.
ok take a look at this picture first:

evry new player must start with the "NEWBIE" rank,
gaining the bars only works on "objective/mission" type of game mode's.
(you cant gain any single bar on B.C. type of game mode)

you can only gain 1 exp. bar, by accomplishing 1 mission,
but it only works on these ranks below:


it will be different after those ranks,

EXCELLENT: accomplish 2 missions to gain 1 bar
PROFESSIONAL: accomplish 3 missions to gain 1 bar
EXPERT: accomplish 4 missions to gain 1 bar
MASTER: accomplish 5 missions to gain 1 bar
HIGHMASTER: accomplish 6 missions to gain 1 bar
COMMANDO: accomplish 10 missions to gain 1 bar



check this picture below:

now if a new player lost his first mission.
than all the bars from the "LAME" "AMATURE" will be active.
if he keeps losing, he'll keep losing bars,

and when he lost all the bars on the "LAME" rank.
nothing will happen, but if he wanna level up again,
he needs to finnish 50 missions
to get back to the amature/newbie rank.

so its better for new players to train themself first on B.C. mode,
or training mode,(if its ever gonna be implented in TC:E)
before starting a mission.


after you gain all the bars on the commando rank:
you will get 1 star.


to earn a second star,
you will have to finnish 100 missions,
and if you lost a mission, doesnt matter, the system only counts the missions you have accomplished.
same method if you wanna earn your 3rd 4rth and 5th star.
5 stars is the maximum amount of stars you can have.

so you have to accomplish 400 mission to get all 4 of them.


after you earned all 5 stars,
you can earn TCE's official logo.


to earn a TCE logo,
you will have to accomplish 50 missions.
with out failing to accomplish any single mission,
if you won 49 missions, and lost the next mission,
you will have to start over again trying to accomplish 50 missions with out losing any.

this will make people get freaking addicted to this game
this means, a full server list 24/7, lol

it also keeps evryone motivated on each mission,
so each mission will be very intense, because who wants to lose a bar?


this was my suggestion about the "RANKING SYSTEM"
any comments or idea's?

I'd prefer military ranks. much like ET. and dude, don't triple post, it really spams up the board.

i think its not original to use real military ranks,
allot of games do this, why not do something alternative,

well. its all good, much like BF2. but the thing is, noone is funding a centralized server that stores all our user profiles in. BF2 and AA (AAOtracker) both have ranking systems, but that is only possible becasue they have a central master server that stores every single one of the 6.7 MILLION player profiles complete with fragrate, scores, ROEviolations, etc. TCE, ET, CS, etcetc all do not use a centralized master server., these games are just simple multiplayer games and arent really full multiplayer games. Sure ET is only multiplayer, but that wasnt the original plan for ET, and ofcourse the only ranknig system available to these games are the third party ladder systems like TWL and WL. Even if TT tries to program this thing, it is virtually impossible to manage and fund by a dev team that only makes a mod on their free time, a mod for a free game, given out completely free, and is played for free.

me too, but the problem is, how do we make and fund a master server for all tce servers to support onlni profiles with onlnie ranking ladder systems?

that you only can rank the specop,
but you cant rank the terrorist's
because terrorist's dont have official ranks,
so thats why there shouldnt be any official military ranks on TC:E,
why not be creative and create a own ranking,
just imagine that TC:E has his own world, i call this "game fiction"
it dont have to be always extremely realistic,
a tiny bit "game fiction" wont hurt,
besides, if the devs created they're own ranks, "non official military ranks"
that will make TC:E have his own characteristics.

Why not have a fictional rank for the terrorists or use ranks from other countries or historical stuff like ranks used by the gauls and stuff. It would be just recruits, lieutenants, captains, commanders. etcetc. hile specops has private, PFC, CPL, SRG, SSG, MSG, LT, CAP, COL, etc. but not all of them are necessary. But with the terror team, if ever they become paramilitary forces they cans till use the standdard militatary ranks but not the US or British rank system. These should be displayed on the character uniforms as an overlay for added visual appeal much like what ET originally had.

Hmm... and you'd be able to go into a game as a Sgt. or Cpl. etc...

That's an interesting idea that could be discussed.

yeah that should be good. And when you go in with a righer rank you get first dibs on the better weapons.

no. that would be too, RPG'ísh, its not a mmorpg,
what i do want is, if you reached the commander rank,
you will unlock some extra accessories for the gear,
like this head:
stuff like that.

yeah, rise in rank should make you standout, and killing you will give the enemy team more points so you have to be protected by your team and force teamwork.

yay, I got wings, I can fly :P

thats a good idea,
oh and also, i personally think, that voices like:

-Reinforce the defense
-Reinforce the offence
are only allowed for the commanders to say.
included hand signals that i suggested before: ... 86&start=0
some handsignals are just ment for the commander rank,

and the hand signals arent ment for newbie's
you will unlock some handsignals when you finnish the training mode,
(if its ever gonna be implented in tce.)
this will prevent noobs doing hand signals and acting stupid

they should have a "dont shoot" signal and head movement, so that you can tell your team not to shoot at you when they can barely see you.

Or a mod that makes you shoot yourself in the *i-need-a-broader-vocab* face if you aim at your teammate and pull the trigger. That would avoid a lot of ROE violations and cause a lot of suicides, lol.
