I"m not saying it's impossible, physics is.

at a waist-hieght balcony, your center of gravity (pivot point, if you wll) is ABOVE the railing. when you lean over it, it passes over, you fall, plain and simple.

why dont you try it yourself, carry 3 baseball bats (aluminum) which should weight about the same as a unloaded m16 then bend over the ledge and look straight down, im not saying to look down but lean straight down as you drew with your body bend 90 degrees down on the ledge. If we dotn hear from you in a few days that means you fell  dont do that.. to dangerous. Just trust us, its not possible to lean over a ledge like that and shoot.

dude i whas carrying A heavy Super-soaker 2000 or something, forgot wich type, but it whas in summer 1998,

that thing whas heavy, and im still alive today

A soldier is well trained, to carry heavy things...
if your A skinny panzy wimp, than yess you fall...

perhaps you were hanging over by your arms with only your head and arms and weapon over the ledge. Unlike in your drawing with depcits the entire top half of the person balancing over the ledge.

yes, if you peek over with just your head, your weapon and a small amount of your body, you're fine. leaning over the railing=fall.

oh, and no amount of training will stop one of the most basic, and one of th most widely accepted laws of physics.

sorry, but you guys sound stupid...

first of all, the drawing is just an example, if i have to explain that to you Xenokiller, than i must be explaining it to A toddler,
serieus,

and second of all,
for the 100th time, me myself<--- can look like down like that from A balcony,

matter of fact, one day, i whas looking down like i suggested,
after i have smoked weed, I swear..
and the funny thing is, is whas bending over more extremly than that example i draw,

like this
Image

i swear, it whas A belcony fence like this
Image

but if the railing whas higher than your legs like this:
Image

than yes you will fall down, if you lean down like i suggested.

you can look down like last picture. but the other one, youll fall (the drawing i mean, and you were carrying a plastic toy at the tiem you didit, not a military combat grade weapons that is fully loaded, plus a whole vest with pockets of ammo.

m16 weighs 3.85kg plus nearly 2kg more for equiptment. That includes kevlar helmet, kevlar vest, MOLLE (the thing on the vest with pockets, not sure about spelling its an acronym), radio, etc. all these add up to the weight of your upper body shifting your center of gravity closer to the neck area. Unless you were wearing 10kilo lead lined boots, youll fall over if you lean with all this equiptment.

not to mention that it's possible that they may have slung thier weapon, but have it still over th erailing pushing down, and are now using thier 1 KG sidearm.

a fully loaded wayer pistol is waaay lighter than a canadian C7 rifle (the equivalent of an M4) how do I know this? I've used a C7 and a water gun. yes, a fully loaded large one.

hmm, maybe we need to lighten down on technicall info, it maybe harder to understand for some people. To put it simple, all the equiptment go on the top half of you body, seldom of the lower half. If you lean over where there is nothing directly supporting all that weight, whereever you maybe doing this and especially if there is a fulcrum, you will tip over, lose your balance, and fall.

Sorry, I just couldn't help but notice.
