hey guys,

some time in 2006/2007 I had my hand at remodelling some TC:E weapons. unfortunately, these were never released. I have had numerous requests for these over the years, but I never got around to sharing them with you. I decided to release these in a raw form, I hope someone here with more time can have a look at these and maybe clean up the file structure. I have no idea if these are complete.

I dont suggest you put these up on your server in this form.

Yeah, they are mostly remodeled weapons with a new texture. I don't know what is in there exactly, but I believe it was a new MK23, Beretta, AK74, AKS74U with supressor, MAC M10, Benelli Shotgun. Other changes were mostly increasing the polycount on iron sights, and I might have done some LOD versions, although I'm not sure.

I had also redone the knife with a new animation, which I was fairly happy with at the time, but I don't remember what happened to it.

I also redid playskins with some new accesories, to get a similar style to what CS:S was at the time. I don't know how relevant all that is, I'm sure the community also did a lot of work in the meanwhile.

N.B. the package only includes my own work. I think there was the SIG 552 and a G3 done by Bruce, I don't remember really if that ever got included, but it was pretty cool.

Yeah, I do have a version of Ståhlberg lying around, but it's not really up to spec and I remember I wasn't fully happy with it. I gotta have a look at it some time.

As for the G3 and others by Bruce... As far as I recall Coroner actually had included the files for it in the CQB pk3's. Someone created a server and somehow even managed to get the G3 "working" in the game ("working" - no sound, poor animations and many glitches. In other words, made the bare-bone files to get used in the game). And then Coroner was obviously pissed off about it. Still, it should mean that Coroner actually has some of the files, if not most. I think he even posted that he has backups of most models etc...

Hi there,
years ago i gave all my works to coroner.

Beside the latest, never finished map the following weapons were included: G3 A2, M4, M4 SopMod, M16, M16 SPR, and camo versions of the whole M4/M16 family.

So the models and textures should be available...at least for the 'core team' ;)
The weapons were ready for .49, including crappy animations and new sounds from ... (didnt remember the name...sry).

Nice to see that TC:E is still alive.

Hi Bruce. Your m4 sopmod is available and works fine on Shotzone BC server. I've made pak with it. Nice models and textures. Did you have your old maps? [ dust and rhuk]

First, dust and rhuk are the same ;)
And the final name for the map was OBJ_Downside.

The map - still not finished - may be on one of my archived HDs. But i am not sure since this is really long time ago...
I wonder if any of the 'officials' has access to our data server, where i uploaded all my stuff finally.

Anyway – i will check that the next days. If i found it, i will post a link to dl.

We are waiting for some news. BTW.. If you are interested, We need people to build CQB [models textures maps animations]

No, i will not take part again. Due to my real life there isn't enough (spare)time left to get into it again. Because i know how much time is needed ;)

But feel free to use the textures and models i made. As said, i will try to search the map project. And within the map you will get access to a lot of 'new' models and textures....
