Hello guys,

First, If there is a Thread where I can get the answer of my question, can you post a link?

Then, after like 2 hours of testing on MWTC with Hyshka, we arrived to some questions.

I never found the true reason of the halting of tc:e dev.
I heard about PunkBuster no more support for ET:W, but the dev stopped a lot before that.

TC:E 0.49b is the best FPS I ever played and I'd like to know how TC:E had gone to the darkness as it is actually.

if you ask me .. i am not a fan of Call Of Cuty , i dont like the game and the gameplay and the controls .. i love q3 tce , its fun to play not the industry shit of call of duty.. i am sure i am not the only one in the universe with this ... so far ...

coroner should lookin for some ppls to make an own engine like q3 play style end then porting tce on it thats the only future if you wanna have a own "game" not only a mod ... a mod is only so long running as the game is running/servers up etc, and its depending on industry servers.. haha good luck ;)

Yeah, I kind of agree with you guys. But within reason, I know that building a 3d engine is a tonne of work. You'd need a decent team of folks who could donate almost all of their free time for it to work/happen within the communities timeline.

Edit: That's not to mention the amount of on going maintenance needed for bug fixes, updates, etc.

PunkBuster isn't providing any new update for Quake3Engine due to it's OpenSource status. =/
