If Punk-Buster drops support, what can we do? I've always wondered why there isn't more Anti-Cheat available, but I assume that's because it's hard to pull off correctly.

I found a few sites, but I'm no server admin, so I don't know if any of these are any better than PB (or if we can even use it with ET). Better than nothing in the end I guess.

EDIT: Someone sent me this, looks promising!

tbh theres basically nothing we can do. the only promising project atm would be slac, the others either failed already or lack multi-os support,...
but even slac might not help. tce support is not guaranteed, we will have to wait for the etpro version to be final. linux support is developing very slowly atm.
and tbh im pretty sure there will be enough slac proof hacks anyway (tho still better than nothing) and ofc there's a pretty good chance that chaplja might play on both sides ($$$, he certainly thought/thinks about it :) )
so lets just wait and see what'll happen...

All those projects are windows only (lol).
All those projects are already bypassed by several organisations.
If PB support drops, open the window and jump !

Like i already said, will you trust a company that is paid by gaming industry and have employees working for anticheat purpose or will you trust a cheat coder who was still selling sources like 6 months ago after droping the ETAC project ? ;)

UAC would be a good choice or even AEQUITAS, but again comes the multi OS support ...
But if TCE dont use a modified ET i dont see why PB would drop the support, streaming being the best way to get a proactive protection.

New Master server with obligatory player registration + 30day probing of new users (easily&automatically banned from system by 3 reports for example; also they should be flagged as newbies - so that everyone can see it) + IP bans for punks with static IP addresses.

I think the anti cheat future is most likely just going to be admins.
