I thought that these points more recoil + less damage, we allready stated as false.

Exactly this is subjective opinion, while i spent so many time testing and got the same feedback from experienced players.

I don't really understand why it wouldn't be a good thing to have one unified aiming system!

Because there is no reason to delete the fun for one part of the community, this sounds so individualist.

damage is the same, well there is actually a difference between persons but that doesn't depend on freeaim or not. the recoil depends on what you are feeling when you are using freeaim, since your vision does not change. The feeling of recoil changes, the recoil does not. you can have fun with both systems.

I can add two things:

Freeaim does not effect recoil or damage or anything else. All it does is two split the angle rotation into rotation of the weapon and rotation of the viewaxis to equal amounts in a corner region of the screen.

Freeaim is and will stay an option, so everybody is free to choose whatever he/she likes or dislikes. If there could be an subjective or gameplay advantages with the one or other setting, everybody has the choice to use this setting.

Obviously, public play contains the choice, and no one was debating that. The questions were directed for League play. It's a gameplay balance issue.

Isn't that a bit like saying that multiple weapon choices or classes are a gameplay balance issue?

These are the cases:

Freeaim OFF = easy (in some instances)
Freeaim ON = easy (in some instances)
Freeaim OFF = hard (in some instances)
Freeaim ON = hard (in some instances)

You can't really draw conclusions from that.

If freeaim was available to one team only then your argument would be valid.

Good to know its just a question of feeling.

I also note that this is done as eye candy purpose and it doesnt affect anything else than placebo egotrip ;).

In leagues skillz are the most important gameplay balance issue !!
Sorry but if the guy is a fast aim/shooter, the guy will own whatever the aimsystem he is using.
+ Question is sorted now, few guys alone wont change the game in the name of the whole community

I use both systems, free-aim ON/OFF, i like both but i'm not always using free-aim especially as sniper, i can't stand freeaim with a bolt riffle & with pistol. For assault/recon i'm usually using free-aim.

As Snakesek said in 1rst posts free-aim sometimes looks like a semi-aimbot, u're just faster to react with free-aim imo, now with a good sensitivity/mouse acceleration, u can almost have same results without free-aim.

It should stay like it is now, haters will keep normal aim, pros will keep using free-aim. :D

The damage and recoil wasn't my concern. Coroner hasn't even mentioned the other things stated about free-aim, so I don't know why you guys are treating this like a flame. Sheesh, bunch of uptight bitches around here.
