Hey Falcon Wings. The servers run custom maps and such, so those need to be downloaded. You can download them from websites, which is much faster.
This website
http://tcbotmatsuri.dip.jp/files/tcetest/ has many of the maps/files you need. I know one server I played yesterday required the following maps:
dem_intercept :
http://tcbotmatsuri.dip.jp/files/tcetes ... ercept.pk3obj_botShootingRange2_v1.0 :
http://tcbotmatsuri.dip.jp/files/tcetes ... 2_v1.0.pk3obj_botShootingRange :
http://tcbotmatsuri.dip.jp/files/tcetes ... gRange.pk3obj_Depot-49-Beta9_1_merlin :
http://tcbotmatsuri.dip.jp/files/tcetes ... merlin.pk3obj_shozen :
http://tcbotmatsuri.dip.jp/files/tcetest/obj_shozen.pk3obj_tm_killhouse_b1 :
http://www.truecombatelite.com/mapdepot ... use_b1.pk3obj_villa2_1 :
http://tcbotmatsuri.dip.jp/files/tcetes ... lla2_1.pk3obj_frostbite_101 :
http://www.truecombatelite.com/mapdepot ... te_101.pk3The links direct you to the download for each map.
After you download the maps, go to your downloads folder, or wherever they saved to.
Move all the map .pk3 files to the following location: Computer> Local Disk (C:) > Program Files > Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory > etmain
--There may be two Program Files folders, which the other would be called Program Files (x86). I have Windows 7 and my ET folder is in the x86 folder.
drop all the maps into the et main folder.
Connect to the server. You may have to download a few other smaller files, but I think I have provided most of the maps from the server I played on, which is one of the only servers. Also, the Map Depot section here has a lot of the maps you would need.
Open the console with ` key when the loading screen for a server pops up. There should be something that says "Need paks:" and that will tell you the files you don't have. You can write the map .pk3 names down, or type /condump ServerMaps in the console. This will save a log of the console in your TCETEST folder. ( /condump <insert name of file here> , I used ServerMaps for an example). Go to your Enemy Territory folder like I've said, and the TCETEST folder will be located in there, and find the text document with the name you've given the condump and open the file with wordpad. The document will have the console text saved so you can search the names of the maps on google or on the map database here.
