Stop doing it! If you're right behind your buddy and he needs to move back he can't. Also if he gets sprayed you die too. Don't line up to someone's line of fire like dominos. :)

Cover him from the other side of the door or behind to the left or right (remember not right on his back). Or just stay back a bit wait for him to die and surprise the killer when (s)he enters your area. ;) Or watch the otherway so no one sneaks up behind you.

if you do need to follow, hang back a bit, and be ready to have him back up at any moment.

lining up isn't that god if it's only a few people, but if you're in BC trying to take out that one camper, and you're willing to die to take him out, go for it.
