Me kid? no I am 40 years old and have been in the US.Army for 14 years.
Am I kidding? no not really, the individual has some good vision of what he/she would like in a video game.
Besides, talking trash about the video game gets nothing accomplished except attention to start a topic that is a troll feeder.

Continue to trash the game all you want about what is wrong with it. Better yet, go someplace else and play a better game!

If I offended anybody, I do not care. I am just getting annoyed with the immature complaining.

I"m usre that if he were to try to develop a game that had all his ideas in it, he'd probably get a nice dose of reality, and find out that many of the things he wants are hard to do, if possible at all on the engine that is currently being used.

Geez, Im trying to get into the same industry myself, I have been doing 3d graphics for 6 years on my own with no official education on it, I use a variety of software not just one.. right now I am learning Basic and will be learning C/C++ soon. I know how hard this process can be, plus especialy with the Quake engine series whe it comes to creating something that will compare with a modern game.

I have a question directed toward anybody that may know this.

I know the game "America's Army" has a forum, and the developers of the game actually visit the forum and ask questions of the community to get feedback to make the game even better, now the question I have...

Is there a forum that the developers of True Combat Elite actually visit?

Oh, one more thing forum related.
Is there a way of disabling the font color of the forum so I do not have to look at orange or any other pretty colors people like to use?

it takes skills to make a crispy low poly model look good, cause like what brad said, you will need to make the textures look realistic and perfect.

id prefer crispy models over buttery looking graphics,
cause crispy looking models will add more characteristics.

I agree with a lot of what Dragonathan suggests.
But unfortunately, I don't think we will ever see high quality player models in TC:E.

i wasnt talking about highpoly... i was talking about realistic crispy/low poly looking models. those picturues above are crispy/low poly models but with realistic textures.

Actually, TCE uses the same models from WET which has less than 1000 poly a piece. Infact the limit is 1000 triangles not even a poly. They are really crisp if it wasnt to TT's textures. The models are just well made and well mad emodels no matter how low poly will always look smoother than a poorly made amatuer model.

Are you talking to me, Dragonathan?

I believe you are.

Maybe you didn't read my reply, I said HIGH QUALITY player models.
And that should include the animations as well. As it is now, these movement animations are not the standard quality of most FPS available today.

Anyway, why would anyone wnat models where polygons are visible? I think the idea here, and so do 99.9% of everyone else want more realistic graphics for thier games therfore crispy isnt the way to go.

They probably stop in here from time to time, but really, there's hardly anything of value here, and then anything of value is buried under mountains of garbage.

They seem to frequent the main forum quite a bit more, but I really can't promise anything.

I always found Linux users as colorful people... But I didn't think it'd show to that extreme...
