Post subject:  VIP Game Mode

I was wondering if a VIP game mode isn't possible?

Here is my idea. The bombman... now the VIP would have to be escorted by team mates to objective A, where he would either pass over the object or touch it using the F key, then have to be escorted to objective B to do the same.

I believe this would be interesting and fun, as it would make the team work more as a group... and add a new mode of play.

Simply make it so the VIP can't be shot by his own team mates... or... if a team mate shoot the VIP the VIP lives, and they die.

pssst... VIP model! a few screens show that they are working on VIP too.

I was hoping for some actual discussion about gameplay instead of meaningless changes to the HUD and server browser.

VIPs have been discussed in the past. You can find some of the old threads in the Archives. So far, TCE's style of fastpaced play doesnt have room for VIPs because escorting has to be taken slowly but swiftly. (now I knoe that doesnt make sense but if you think about it, TCE's gameplay is just too explosive for VIP mission. - kinda like playing Quake as Samfisher, Quake is fastpaced and SamFisher needs stealth, in Quake going slow and low isnt the best idea to implement)
