Any chance to get either the source code of TC:E released or given to the Enemy Territory: Legacy team so it can be maintained and kept stable so it has a better chance of surviving and working correctly in new versions of ET: Legacy. I don't want to see this eventually become unplayable due to rot with age and OS/software changes in the future.

We all still do play from time to time, we had a great upcoming few years ago but sadly everyone that time enjoying the game either stopped playing again or have no time anymore so its a bit harder to get games going but def still people interested to play now and then.

I believe there are only 2 major active "TCE" Discords, either the one from BigBird or mine. Tho i have mine extended bit more to other games and more of a hang out and chat discord after last time that everyone neglected the game

I didnt want to reveal much yet, but I have a remaster/overhaul project that has been in the works off and on for a couple of years and it is getting really close to being done.
We really would love to make this remaster standalone, and have .49 added to Steam.

It's a very thoughtfully crafted and faithful remaster with a lot of detail and new stuff added and some small changes made. But it is very much True Combat. I started this project with an approach that was very methodical about retaining the original premise and art style of the game, without changing too much while adding content and features to it.

Would love to get in contact with you guys about this build. It's pretty incredible lol
Don't mind giving you guys rights to this either if you want to publish this yourselves.
Will have a trailer and full changelog when this releases, after reveal and having a teaser and release date.

I tried really hard to sort of deprecate .49, and make the game feel like it was actually finished and I feel really good about releasing this. It's pretty cool lol
Theres some little things we really wanted to do but would need the source code to add them, but were able to get by and add some neat stuff.

Will have more stuff explained later in the changelogs etc.
