Yeah, it's pretty sweet. I just picked up an Ithica Model 37 Featherlight for $250.

I'm going to reload some shells and take it trap shooting later tonight.

It's going to be hella fun.

Also, on sort of a separate note, what sort of hoops do you have to jump through to buy a gun in Canada (or whatever your homeland is)?

In the US (or at least in my state), it's fairly simply. You just have to fill out Form 4473 ( http://www.atf.gov/forms/4473/index.htm ), and wait several minutes while they run the instant background check.

You have to be 18 for shotguns and rifles, and 21 for handguns.

I really can't say, but I think the purchase is simple, but you need to register it. and I believe it's 18 to buy guns here (but not from that dude on the street!!!!!!)

They dont allow guns here in canada, only military and police (or any security for excludingsecurity guards) who are on duty are allowed to even touch a gun. There are no gun registries nor any gun clubs, shooting ranges, or gun stores here that are legal. well at least that lessens one problem, and thats idoits who use the guns to do wrong but apparently dont know how to shoot. (and that makes me want to shoot them)

Lol, in Missouri, you can own any form of a weapon as long as it's below .50 Cal. and is not automatic. You can own semi automatic long range sniper rifles if you wanted. Lot of paperwork and crap though, thats the hard part. Basically anything thats not meant for assault or destroying anything other than life. W owned an M4 for a long time, ammo was very hard to get, so we sold it. Then more laws came around and it's a good thing we got rid of it. 8)

I currently own, Mossberg shotgun (not sure on type) Marlin Goose gun
(6 feet long!) A .22 semi auto rifle, a Mauser SP66 sniper rifle, a small .22 pump gun, and a double barrel shotgun (not sure on type again). The pump gun I fired about a year ago and the bullet was a squib, so I rarely fire it, not to mention IT'S A PUMPGUN!!! The Mauser SP66 is fairly new, it's got very nice range, the recoil is nice for a sniper, and is very accurate. The Marlin Goose gun is a bolt action with a magazine, loads 5 shells at a time, and is amazingly 6 feet long.

Exactly what is a gun for if itd only allowed for thedestruction of things other than life? Would you use it to kill a fly or cockroach? or to take out the trash?

lol, a gun has no purpose other than ending life. :P

But I find it quite fun unloading a couple of clips from my Berretta 96G at a shooting range to be kind of fun. :D

well we all know it is of no real use to have a gun. if your talking about defending yourself it is much better to be able to do so unarmed or using the environment and the items in your surroundings.

hell, for self-devence, a knife or old beer bottle will work under 21 feet....

it takes long enough for you to defend yourself with a gun (react, draw, fire) that within 21 feeet, an average attacker with a knife or other melee weapon can overpower you before you can fire.

Now if you're this guy. I think self-defense with a gun would be a massacre. :P

I can shoot that fast. -.- On TC:E with a Berretta and a relaod mod. >.>
But seriously, I don't think anyone could shoot that fast without a modded gun, he had to have some type of modification to the trigger, it's hard enough to pull the trigger on most handguns, and since he's using a revolver, it's hard because your also putting in the power to spin the bullet chamber. But heck, I had someone time me once with my SP66, I took down 8 glass bottles in 5 seconds at 50 yards. Thats pretty good if I say so myslef. :P

dont you mean the hammer. Practise makes perfect with that. Add ons for firing that was would mean replacing the trigger system with a hellfire system from an assault rifle. Reloading that fast is possible, there are cylinder clips for revolvers that let jyou just slide in the bullets all at once.

Well yeah, I know. But still, he's awfully fast for that, loading anyway. With the clip or not, any revolver I used you had to pull a pin hting and that would slide the chamber down which took me a bit to even get a good hold on the pin, maybe I'm just handeling incapable though. >.>
