Lets just say you have it uska, we arent suppose to be taking about warez. I have WinXP Home SP2 OEM edition so it wasnt that expensive, plus I got two copies on per computer. (got 2 computers)

its no problem. In the next 3 years after a total upgrade of my computer I plan to get Vista by then it should be more stable.

Probably most of us will be using home edition, the otehr 3 WInXP editions are just far too expensive for casual computer use in both homework, hobby, and games or whatever.

Have been using open source software since 2001, and I have been M$ free since 2003.

I use Linux because it is secure, flexible, stable, functional, free, great support communities, efficient, customization is great, open source, faster than other OS's on the same hardware, standards complient, less maintenence, and the lack of infection by viruses, trojans, worms, spyware and other malware is a good contributing factor.

the problem is the lack of software and games on linux, usualy linux rely's on having linux ports of the software or using windows emulators.

Lack of software and games?
there is over 14,000 games available for Linux, and over 60,000 applications for software.
But wait.... you do not see them on the shelves at your favorite store. Probably because the software is also FREE.
I have not seen any free software available on any store shelves.
When was the last time you seen Firefox, OpenOffice, Azureus, 7-zip, and Inkscape on a store shelf? Never.... It is open source software, available to download for free.
I know I did not mention any games, you want a list of software, I can flood the website with links for you to visit if you like.

I am guessing since your reply to my last post is quoted above, you NEVER used Linux. If you have, your statement would have never been made.
Linux is all around you whether you know it or not. It is in the banks keeping your money safe, it is in the ATM that you withdraw your money, the New York stock Exchange, Disney, Pixar, any movie after 2002 that has computer graphics, hospitals use it to keep their patients alive with heart machine& lung machine running linux, NASA uses it to launch the shuttle into space, and they use it onboard the shuttle and space station. The military uses it to guide missles and ballistics to their target. linux is used when lives depend on it. Imagine seeing a bluescreen on the controls of the Airplane when trying to land... not going to happen. But you will see them on the monitors to see when the next flight is ready.
I could go on and on about where it is used. but you already knew that right?
Yes, Microsoft monopolized the desktop, and that is why it is in front of you now. More than 70% of the Internet is hosted on a Linux Apache server, and if you Google anything, you will be using over 400,000 Linux servers to make your search.
Yes, even THIS SITE is hosted on Linux.
Use http://news.netcraft.com/ to see what sites you currently visit are running.
Check out SourceForge Software Map and see a few software titles that are available for ALL operating systems. That is another reason why it is called OPEN SOURCE. it does not close itself to one operating system, and it is free to modify if you wish and redistribute.
OK, I am tired of ranting.... Use http://www.google.com to educate yourself a bit about anything concerning the operating system you are using and ones that you are not.

What I am saying is games and software - retail industry quality not the open source ones - are normaly made for Windows then ported to linux.
